  1. My hand and I are going to enjoy some fancy wine and chocolates
  2. Great to see カノン's members back again! The samples sound super promising, so I really hope they change to a formal band after the limited period is up.
  3. Will keep that in mind! We've only gotten a Masquerade tape once before, but it pretty much sold instantly.
  4. Yea XD I've been out of it today. Nothing like that, unfortunately. Given your collection though, I don't think there'd be much we'd be able to get that you don't already have lol
  5. There's actually 3 DEG items in that photo :v (ghoul DVD, Rinkaku ltd edition and The type of Deity tourbook) The item list for the auction isn't out yet since we're busy finalizing it, but there'll be a couple hundred items on there.

I think it's the pose where you're on your knees in front of another guy. Very popular in the VK bandoman circles.

I know nobody really wants to see Kisaki's crispy ol' body, but why are VK fans so alright with what basically amounts to revenge porn?

Been playing a lot of Overwatch when I have the free time, since I finally caved and slapped down the cash for it. It's been all solo comp this season though, since all of the people I know who have OW have entirely replaced it with Destiny 2 :<
  15. "New material" would be pretty exciting since up to this point, their setlists have just been an Eiji best-of.
  16. Biopanda

They released a 3rd PV DVD as well as a live-distributed single called "create a furor" since then. As far as I know, they've never been "inactive" though. They do multiple lives every month and have always focused on being more of a live band than a studio band.

Shame I hope they're able to find a new bassist soon.
  18. What the fuck, was BABOO trolling us and are actually j-indie?

      nothing exists

      none of us are real

Tried that and unfortunately it was a no-go I expected that'd be the case though, since they were never meant to be released and wouldn't have any need for CD-TEXT metadata.

I've posted this around a bit, but this thread seems as good as any to post it again. Around the time that Grieva started, they were playing a mysterious song called "THE Suicide☆$HOW TIME". As far as I know, this hit the cutting room floor near the end of December 2012 and was never played again or officially recorded. Since Grieva released their final album, I think it's safe to say that it'll forever stay in the vaults. The only record we have of it beyond some old setlists was a recording I made at what was possibly the last live it was performed. I can kinda see why they decided to drop this thinly-veiled Child Prey rip-off, but nevertheless it was a pretty interesting piece of the band's history. Outside of Grieva, I've got a bit of info with... no real info actually XD Last year I had received some uncirculated demo CDs from the bands Orphee, Medical Trance Peach and Romance For~. Each of these contained 5-6 unreleased songs and (as far as I can guess from how they looked) came from a former(?) employee of a recording studio. There was no tracklists or other info on these beyond recording dates on the Romance For CD(1999.03.15~1999.04.15). Doesn't really reveal a lot, but it's still really interesting to see that each of these bands were in the studio recording a minialbum's worth of songs that would never end up being released.

Is it that expensive to fly from the US to Japan?
I payed 610$ for a roundtrip to Tokyo (from Sweden) in December just two weeks ago :o

Unfortunately, yeah :( When I flew to Japan from Albuquerque back in Dec 2012, roundtrip tickets cost me about $1300.

Also, I wonder what the ex members of Dir&Gray are doing now. I'd like to see where they got the name from

    2. Keiyuu

      Keiyuu

All I know is that their vocalist became the second vocalist of Kneuklid Romance (known as 雪乃 in that band). They're mentioned as ディルアングレイ here https://www.vkdb.jp/KneuKlid+Romance.html

But it's safe to assume that guy already retired long ago. And I got absolutely no idea who the other members are :/

Yeah, Biopanda and I had a whole discussion on it because we were curious to who this band in these early 90's livelists were lol. We even found an alternate name for the band, as well as a demo on Niconico.

Since the lead guitarist was a Zi:Kill roadie, perhaps if there is ever a chance to ask Tusk, he's probably know.

I'm being serious because I'm authentically curious where the name came from lol.

I guess Dir&Gray could've been one of those cases of a band that used to be a little popular but was sort of forgotten (kinda like Mi'ze:lia, the first band of Mitsuki and Takemasa from Kiryu), or perhaps were popular among the musicians, but not the fans.

Because you'd think if they contributed to the name of Lareine's "Dir en Gray", and the band "Dir en Grey", you'd think they'd be more well known.
