This. I hope they'll change their sound too, because I'm pretty sure I didn't like them before.Agreed completely. From what I've heard of them (their first releases I guess), they seem to have potential. I'm really curious as to what they'll come up with as a non-VK band.

His solo career is pretty much overshadowed by B'z itself - not as much as Tak's solo and collaborative stuff, though, but you don't see Koshi having hits and other hits as B'z. But he does have some pretty interesting stuff and has already released quite a few singles, not to mention three solo albums between 1997 and 2004. Maybe you can give his solo career a chance with this new album. 'Okay' was very good (the entire single really) and I'm sure there'll be more of his acoustic and laid-back sound in it (at least I hope so, considering it has fifteen songs).

It's regarding Koshi's upcoming solo album, "Hadou", which is coming out on August 18th. Includes 15 songs and the limited edition comes with a DVD with all his PVs (except for "Okay"). I'm personally really looking forward to this. Might as well purchase the limited edition - 15 songs with 11 music videos are worth giving away 3,990 yen for.

There's a recommendation thread right here (http://s4.zetaboards.com/Tainted_World/topic/763606/1/) and both our posts are probably being moved merged to it, but I can recommend you Ya-foo (or maybe Hata Motohiro if you're into more mainstream stuff) right away. I'm not too familiar with acoustic artists myself, but I'm sure a few other users here can recommend you plenty of other bands/singers.

The album is really, really great. SME did an amazing job with them this time. I've only listened to the whole CD once yesterday, but Obsession is easily my favorite so far.

Sufjan Stevens - Romulus

LUNACY is easily the most accessible one, with songs like TONIGHT, gravity, Be Awake and Sweetest Coma Again. Yet I think that both STYLE and MOTHER represent LUNA SEA at the top of their game; you can't go wrong with songs like ROSIER and END OF SORROW. As of songs to start with, I recommend these last two along with TONIGHT, WISH, STORM and BELIEVE.

Six Feet Under S04E07 "The Dare"

B-sides > A-side. Most precisely shooting star > HERO > smile. I wasn't expecting much after listening to smile., so I was pleasantly surprised how this turned out to be a really good single. While I think smile. is the weakest song on the CD, I don't think it's necessarily bad - it's just your typical pop-rock-filled-with-violin-arrangements Japanese song. shooting star, on the other hand, has the sound I always expect them to do - catchy pop-rock stuff with simple chorus, solo and everything - and already got me addicted after only one listen. HERO is pretty good too in its chill vibe; sounds like a grower and fits well in their ballads/soft catalogue. I don't usually rate CDs in reviews, but I'd give this single a 8/10.

I liked their concept after the group pictures came out. Individually, only Taemin caught my attention at first (for obvious reasons). I'm actually really excited for this. Teasers didn't do much for me, but they're just (very short) teasers anyway. Oh, other details such as number of songs (13) and album/title-track titles (LUCIFER) were also just revealed.
