Here is an old gem from German TV.
It is a cringeworthy story about a German girl who is obsessed with Mao from Sadie and runs away from home to find and marry him.
This is from a German "reality" show which was broadcasted on a big channel.
The broadcast is such obscure as I never ever saw something VK related on German TV.
 
Beware of watching this shit.. you will develop a desire to destroy something afterwards.. XD

It's a bit of an old and well known one but personally I was really shocked when I saw Diru on the Saw 3D soundtrack. Still kind of am, actually. I even remember hearing the track being played during some trailer clip or something. That might just be faulty memory but I distinctly remember this strange feeling of intrigue when I heard something distinctly non English playing during a western horror film, mostly because I wasn't used to hearing music in languages I couldn't understand back then. 
 
Apparently X Japan was on Saw IV's soundtrack too, but I don't remember that one as well. Tbh I think hearing X in the credits of one of the most famous torture porn movie franchises of all time is unexpected in itself. Honestly I'm still surprised that the Saw soundtracks featured international, in this case, Japanese and VK rock/metal. It's just uncommon for something as popular as the Saw franchise to feature VK without it being some exoticism gimmick (or at the very least, openly treated like one), or have it be a part of the setting or plot. 

My Kowareta Piano to Living Dead LP from MUCC arrived, im so glad they put that on vinyl.

God, I'm old... Ive been in to Japanese music since 1989. First piece of music I've heard was NOVELA - secret love. Got into Viskei later with out realizing that a few of the bands I like were considered that. AION, dead end, zi:kill, dies in cries... etc.  I would rather not get into too much history, anyway... thank you for having me!
