I like Sugar and Moran (both disbanded T_T) because they had a very experimental sound that was unlike anything I'd ever heard before. They also had jazzy influences and they both had my favourite guitarist (Sizna).

They just never really stood out to me, personally.

You like something a bit more complex? Something that makes you think instead of just something you can look at? Personally, I like a mixture of both, although I probably prefer things that simply look appealing to me. I like art with a lot of colour in it and a lot going on; something I couldn't ever get bored looking at.

What if it was a drawing of something simple, like a cute puppy?

I guess when you feel proud of it. Do you think it's something different?

Subjective. I guess the most objective definition would be something you're proud of that you can say is... "you". I would argue there has to be some degree of technical skill as well, but stylisation is also very important.

Unfortunately, no. Besides, I haven't really done anything good enough to be considered complete yet.

As for me, I'm not really sure what the "selling point" of my style would be if I were to develop a unique one. Mayhaps that's why I can't seem to improve. As for inspiration, I often go to this public building and the front of it is often used to showcase people's art, so I'll look there for inspiration. There were these two artists I really liked: Craig Dawson and Emily Longhurst. They're not too famous yet, but if you look them up, you should be able to find some of their art.

I think I had to briefly study one of Blake's poems in high school English, although I can't remember which one.

Alrighty, so it's about someone who feels trapped in their class even though many others would consider them to be more fortunate. It's interesting, really. From your point of view, I'm guessing it's symbolic of a lack of social mobility?
