We should start a GoFundMe campaign for Ruki, to get a fitting suit for once.
  2. ^ Sounds amazing, even though it's basically Un Deux and Revelation of Mankind mixed together _________________________________________________________________________________________ Also, props for that pube-stache...charming.

I'm all for new bands, but even not accounting for those rough harsh vocals, this sound quality isn't really acceptable in 2018.
  4. Not even a competent vocalist could save this boring composition... And, yet...wow, this is a step-up for Bloom boys. They could afford a green screen.

Kouryu and Tenten were perfect together, but it's gone. RAZOR and Lack-co. are doing their own thing with varying success. As sad as it might be I don't see Tenten in a "heavy" band ever again, but I hope I'm wrong. Seems, that they found the sound they were happy with - Ivy, but we'll see how all that shit will unfold.

Easily the best April Fools joke Interestingly enough, this song was originally made for P3, without these lyrics, of course
  8. 123Sandman321

Damn, every song sounds absolutely amazing. And as much shit as I gave Korey, his shoes will be somewhat tough to fill...oh what am I saying, they just need some Cubase/Pro Tools drum-programming lessons and they are set.

Day 476: Still waiting for some solid 80s synthwave project... Yeah, also, trying to get on that Mamireta/Kizu train, while arriving horribly late at every station

Fast =/= technical, or good, for that matter. No one said he was bad, because he obviously isn't, but as you yourself have said, his live performance is lacking by modern standards. Also, comparing to other drummers is pointless, because they are all so samey and unwilling to get out of their comfort zone (in FIXER's genre). They fit the music, and do what they are supposed to do, but they don't seem to enhance it in any way. And Korey definitely falls under that category, with the added bonus of being his own metronome. Dude should seriously have a click-track in his ear during his future lives, because, damn, the videos from the DVD they have posted were so fuckin' bad.
  11. ^Awesome as usual, Forge has some sweet moves. I'm still in awe of how popular they got, it's insane nowadays for a metal band. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ On another note, Behemoth released a new music video. Top-notch cinematography and visuals. And not to forget, the best song from the album.
  12. 123Sandman321

As much as I love them, they can do better in that regard and recruit a slightly better drummer, sooo, silver lining, I guess...?
  13. 123Sandman321

Well, I recommend starting with the re-recorded songs, since the album carries on in the same overall tone and I guess that by comparing them with their predecessors, they best display the evolution of the band. But honestly, you can pick basically any song from the record, since they all are very solid, maybe except the slightly boring "ballad" (5th song), which I usually skip, because it doesn't really fit But it is also important to point out, that they dropped all the heaviness from before (however questionable)

Tear down the missing posters and shut down the milk carton campaign.

I was actually surprised, these guys didn't have a dedicated topic. As I've seen, people here have been generally lukewarm towards them, but they have definitely redeemed themselves with their full album. Compared to the mismatched mess of both good and horrible ideas, they released previously, with the album, they have finally found their sound and the re-recorded songs now have a much better tone and feel. I'm excited for their next release.

Can't say that I'm as blown away as with RED INVISIBLE, but this is shaping up to be their most solid release since then. I'm excited.

...mate, I was making a shit joke, I didn't question the legitimacy of your story
  20. 123Sandman321

BLACK PIG is too much of them trying to be deathcore, but failing terribly...I love those dudes and Imitation was one of the highlights of 2017, but that was just disappointing. Generic, boring and something that western deathcore bands have been doing 10x better for years.
  21. 123Sandman321

I wouldn't touch Emmure with a 10-foot pole before. But since the Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza and Glass Cloud guys joined Frankie, I was already sold on it, and with Look at Yourself, they really delivered. Josh Travis was an insane breath of fresh air for them. The whole album is a banger after a banger, especially those two: Really can't wait to see them with Oceans Ate Alaska (those guys are my main incentive, though), Crystal Lake and Betraying the Martyrs, here in Czech Republic, this summer.

Your new light-novel needs more work...think of a more original idea
  23. 123Sandman321

Do they honestly need even a single guitarist for Yoshiki's 45-minute-long piano-wanking?
  24. 123Sandman321

Look on the bright side, Keita isn't "rapping" at least. Also, it was already established that Leda has an illness called Shit Taste, for which there is no cure. But, honestly, as a package, it's an overall solid record, I mean, in context of Leda's previous works, it's certainly lacking, but considering the whole scene, it's still up there. Though, my main issue with this album, and FED in general, is the utter disappointment (most notably with Tonick Dizain) that I get with nearly every release. It's good, sometimes great, even. But they have the potential to do so much more and that's what pisses me off. (also including a 2-fucking-year old single...which is still the highlight of the album)
  25. Gonna pile on with saying that the PV is beautiful, also, it's nice that at least someone can open their mouth properly when singing. The bass line is the same, but it seems much louder in the mix.
