  1. Done listening to FIXER II...the live-limited tracks are amazing, damn, am I gonna miss them. Definitely one of the best bands that came out in 2010s.

I saw them live in 2014, I liked them a lot so I listen oftenly to them.

Most of the discography is nice, even tracks like Verify

I definitely miss the heaviness of the previous EP, but I still liked what I heard. The first half felt a little samey, but it picked up later on, in the latter half. They have carved out a nice niche for themselves with those last few records and I want them to continue in the same way, expanding upon all the various sounds they have melded in the past. Both overall musicianship and production were spot on as usual, no changes there. So yeah, I really enjoyed it, even when they went all the way with those mellow, "cutesy" vibes. (also, the intro from track 4 is weirdly reminiscent of the intro from The Real Slim Shady )

lynch. will release an album/EP, lest the world ceases to exist Mysterious bands will continue to be mostly trash, but the fad will show no signs of stopping DISREIGN will release another single or two and then go into hibernation mode, again, until The GazettE release something fresh JILUKA will release an acoustic EP, with breakdowns NCBL will recruit some unknowns, ditch the visuals and release an uninspired metalcore album (Cazqui's guitar wankery shall be missed) B.P.R. bands will form a union and seize the means of production NAZARE goes on to be bigger than DIMLIM (quite undeservedly) Yoshiki will proudly announce another signature product (I dunno, cheese, maybe) Ryo will FINALLY release original music, either in a band or solo

Standard TBS fare, which ain't a bad thing, but... with horrendous production and constant skank blasts. It completely overshadowed the guitar work and made the song extremely boring to listen to.

I don't think much good could come out of their reunion. Sure, all of their projects after Deluhi went kinda nowhere and are quite lackluster, considering the musicians we are talking about, but it seems like their tastes have shifted so much that it just wouldn't be the way it used to. It would likely come to even more watered down Far East Dizain, only with Juri on vocals. (+ Keita's harsh vocals are better) Though, if they do get back together, which I still hope happens (despite what I said), I wish my prediction is very, very wrong. CODA might still be a solid ballad, it just ain't what I wanted or expected...at all.
  7. I'm still dearly waiting the day, when Akane amasses enough of those 7/11 ¥¥¥, so that he can make a full-blown come-back...

Hell, I'd be happy for properly mixed and mastered Inside of me tracks

Also, he should follow Issei's model of acquiring some unknowns who don't yet know how much of a nightmare he is to work with.

  8. This is shaping up to be their best release yet. Damn, I certainly didn't expect that after the BLESS EP. Even tho they keep the same cohesive feel throughout, as they should, it all sounds nice and diverse. I'm really stoked for this one.
  9. Those guys were a huge part of my childhood, when I was a pure metalhead...nice to see them going back to their roots.

The time spent listening would be multiplied many times over if all VK artists put their music on Spotify (and if Spotify's quality would match that of my mobile music player)...I had to resort to my MP3 collection Anyway, bless Starwave and a few others for putting their bands on Spotify, I fucked hard with Fixer's full-lenght as it seems, since all the songs are by them and not lynch. who are actually my top artist...
  11. 123Sandman321

I hope he never does. We can't afford to lose a constant like that. Who'd continue to carry the torch of proggy shit-kei? And he undeniably gets better with every project he does.
  12. 123Sandman321

After releasing a really well composed single like Agartha, they just go and pull this generic crap? Will it continue to be a back-and-forth between great regular records and utter shit live-limited ones?

    DISREIGN_v_4.0 - > DOGMA.exe_has_been_successfully_uninstalled - > NINTH.exe_has_been_successfully_installed

This is probably their most solid record to date, I felt quite indifferent having listened to the digest, but after hearing the whole thing, the samples just didn't do the songs justice (as per usual with DADAROMA). None of the songs comes close to the likes of Lucid Dream, but overall, all of them flow really well and even though the genres and mood changes are all over the place, they just fit together as an EP. The compositions seem really mature and the added symphonic touches never felt out of place. The production is perfect, especially the drums, some bands should take notes. Definitely a highlight of the year and strong comeback to form.

I fuck with CHOKE1 to this day, but this is just plain weird. The tempo changes are all over the place and don't serve the song at all. And the disclaimer at the beginning is just cute
  16. 123Sandman321

This is so sugary and boring and all while them being capable of so much more.
  17. 123Sandman321

I just really hope that they are gonna buy their drummer a metronome. The lad was constantly off-tempo on their last single.
  18. 123Sandman321

None of the songs are original. Well, even if it were new songs, they still wouldn't be "original".
  19. 123Sandman321

A nice continuation of where Issei-era DIMLIM left off. His drumming is tight as always and guitars are great. Vocalist is holding them back, a bit, tho. His cleans are lacking and anything other than lows sound quite off. Also those Aharewata highs near the end were just a bit too obvious and unnecessary. But I'm really curious about how for they are gonna develop, so far, seems really promising.
  20. New Whitechapel is fucking here!

  21. 123Sandman321

The chorus is quite disjointed, true, but this song has some of their best guitarwork overall and the breakdowns are spot on. An instant favorite.
  22. 123Sandman321

Finally a song which seems at least a bit promising. I can actually HEAR THE GUITARS in the mix. Now if only the entirety of drummers would stop using that slut "blast beat" so often, that'd be great.
  23. 123Sandman321

Who thought that Diaura 2.0 would fall into the same rut of creating one song over and over again, only with different arrangements. Who am I kidding tho, I still like it.
  24. 123Sandman321

I'm so disappointed by Jiluka's new album. Every song has the same structure and even sounds the same the whole album around. Ricko's harsh vocals have never been stellar and it shows here, combined with his lacking english during the clean parts...it's one of his worst performances. While Sena is technically a brilliant guitarist, he doesn't seem to have any imagination beyond super fast sweep-picking and the same fucking breakdown they've been using for years. Also, it would be kinda nice if Zyean did more than constant blast beats, but considering the songs that Sena presented, I suppose it didn't leave much room to breathe, creatively. (correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he does most of the songwriting) Maybe I expected too much of this record, considering they've released so many gems in the past (while innovating with every release), but damn, I'm so fucking salty now. It's still quality stuff that I like, but with the standard I held them to...this album just didn't cut it. It's like Far East Dizain all over again...
  25. 123Sandman321

The drumming sounds off throughout the whole song 😕 it doesn't flow as it's supposed to, it just doesn't fit the song. The overexposed bass drum and weird cymbal hits near the end. I wanna like the song, but I really can't. The drums hurt the overall expression quite badly...aaaand it has an unwatchable PV to boot. Made me dizzy.
