Just wait for their 20th anniversary and they will definitely appreciate an idea of performing their songs as they are a.k.a originals, not as in remakes. Of course I can feel your pain there sis, but we better keep our mouths shut and fingers crossed for the better future (yup, I can't get into DSS too, I have my own reasons for that)
-
Let me be da muhfuckin DOG then
-
Woah woah wall of text Maiku, won't you mind putting a chapter division there, plz? Other than that, nice review. Is it really permitted to post thoughts about live dvds in this section btw?
-
9Goats Black Out (sounded silly to me back in 2009...and still sounds silly as hell) The whole ex-name of "Paradeis" The whole ex-name of "Nogod" ASS'n'ARRow (lol) Basically most neo-oshare bands these days have funny names ALSO: I remember myself bursting out of laughing while hearing Dir en grey's name for the first time in 2001 (aka the reason why I mentioned this year is because they were vk back then). You might take it as a cool band name, yeah, but it was, and is STILL TACKY AND STUPID for me tbqh

Now that TJ disbanded, is there any kind of possibility that Shiina will/would pull out a new solo release this year? Not that I am worshiping her non-TJ repertoire (I'm a newbie fan btw), I just want some new, hot stuff - Color Bars ain't enough
-
I liked all the recent singles so far Might attend their STRONG POP gig @ Helsinki, or w/e it is (secretly stanning for Aiji btw)
-
It would be nice to know the graphic artist behind Gemini and 9's cover art Ps Company always had top-notch artpieces when it comes to covers (Kagrra covers dayum!), even if they're moneysucking jerks (Tomomi, don't even try)
-
Would you be kind and post the original text (yes, not a translation) and one of the source pages, KILLINSTINCT? I am not kinda believing in that, considering the fact that most PS-related twitter/myspace avatars were left "unharmed".
-
That went way too far (referring to Chianti's link)
-
So what do you think, guys? For me personally, the start was somehow weak until Shabaranda ended. The rest was somehow surprising, considering the fact that I was afraid of it's possible "10-ness" - Otoko Roman needs to grow on me for awhile but overall, it was a nice album. Nice mix of Shuuji's and Ao's handwork/compositions...kinda wondering what did Kenjirou contribute since Makoto for eg. took a part in *self-covering* the whole album. I suck at giving proper ratings but EDIT: 8,5/10.

It's okay but there are far better songs. BUT SHOU STILL IS IN A BIG NEED FOR A GOOD VOCAL COACH I mean, even Ruki had one at some point, why can't Shou do the same?
-
Oh yes, Kapseli, my jam! I suck at describing/trying not to spoil when it comes to these but Kapseli was some sort of throwback to their Au-style with things that they mustered and wanted to develop further in Usko Itseesi (the use of SFX and synth in Oshiwambo for instance) Super-great album - not a disappointment at all, briefly put

Indeed. Personally I think that Hiyori is the least important member in this band since bass in Kiryu is pretty much covered up with those Kagrratastic synth/flute/violin parts and chaotic guitar lines. Btw, they should really hire session members for synth/violin or something. Playback's for the weak.
-
Wait what...wasn't there a rumor about "singleless" album btw? Is that a "promised" concept album? Also lol @ Dim my Division
-
It depends, but abs' obsession is surely an old-fashioned thing to happen. I will vote for ass due to harassment that I've experienced due to my little butt pretty many times...
-
I am sorry to say this but they are already one.
-
;O; WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!!! (I prefer them to Shiina's solo, sry fans. )
-
fix'd Agreed otherwise, these guys shouldn't really disband. Got into their latest singles + Mugen Houyou album - loving them!
-
Poor guy D: Let's hope for the better, I don't want this band to fade away - they are somehow far more unique than any current vk band (there are exceptions tho) atm. VK seems to be a dead scene now.
-
Kinda sad to hear this but hey, it's Emiru's fault for being such an ass. Also: it's not a big loss ever since Kiryu is currently taking the place of Kagrra and Aicle in "Neo-Japanesque quirkiness"

>Mejibray Never understood the hype around VanessA and Mejibray, never will. Are you listening to this because of the music or because of their belly buttons and genki's tongue? >Yoshiki I hate this little, moneysucking, Pattinson-ish embodiment of Paris Hilton and his ways of recycling all the stuff he has made like 20 years ago and pretend that it's a new masterpiece dedicated to Hide and blah blah blah...I have to say that he's only guy in J-scene I hate with my whole heart, with passion as you might say. >Within Temptation Zzzz...do I really have to say something about this? High predictability, a singer for whom I just can't sympathize, soullessness...maybe it's just me but give me a break - there are far better female-fronted "metal" bands. eyeroll.gif >Pitbull Latina chicks won't save you, dawg, just no. Generic as hell and such a big waste in the ongoing club music scene. To the oblivion with you. >Basshunter Doing the same crap ever since Boten Anna, to the oblivion with you [2] And the rant goes on...
-
EDIT: nothing here, carry on...
-
SADS (thought of this while seeing Arith's Gazette pic) Faith No More (Mike Patton) Merry (lol) I guess that's all for today
-
Umm, why the heck are you listing singles as well? Totally irrelevant to the topic title. Anyways, copied from my last.fm page - shortened ver. + comments : Kuroyume - Headache and Dub Reel Inch - Seems like Kuroboyz didn't even try to do something outstanding - it would be understandable, considering the fact that they had already some other things to do (Hitoki's solo vs. Kiyoharu's SADS gigs) but seriously, this is just dull. Dir en grey - Dum Spiro Spero - Doesn't matter even if I was confused in the first place while listening to this record, after awhile I realized that it had no plain structure in it - bass and guitars formed nothing but a big mush of cacophony in the end - it had one good song or two but yeah, I just can't go through this piece of unintelligible growlage rubbish. Kyo, just start singing again for heaven's sake + Kaoru, learn to play guitar and improve yourself right from the start. the GazettE - Toxic - Dubstep album? People, get ears ffs. I was pretty fine with "experimentation" in intro (it's a fad, i know) BUT recycling fest afterwards was anything but satisfying. Total downfall after DIM, seriously. Versailles - Holy Grail - Would've been better album without HGP-istic snooze-o-parts and Faith & Decision's long, boring solo jamming after such a promising intro in it. Not even trying, for real. Sujk - Arkhelism - I can understand already that why Leda couldn't let anyone but himself compose DELUHI's composition pieces. Blandest J-release of this year, no descriptive comments needed. Korn - The Path of Totality - Stop following the fads that won't suit you Korn, seriously. Most sucking release of this year. YOU DID IT AGAIN DAVIS AND CO. Not caring about the others that much.

Just discovered a great band, thanks to Disposable But yeah, just keep them recommendations rolling to my side, if you wish to do so! I am open for everything!
