Now, looking back to my Kuroyume-obsessed comments, I am more than embarassed atm... @Marshall Lee: Corkscrew would have been more..."variable" imo, it just feels like a *real* beginning for Kiyoharu's Sads-project feat. Hitoki's blandest bass ever in Kuroyume's career (well, Headache and Dub Reel Inch is the one taking that title tbqh ) Now, a question: am I the only one who started to love Nakigara wo even more and more? It's just pitiable that it gets overlooked on all occasions (especially considering the fact that most people check Mayoeru Yuritachi instead...which isn't as good as their first indie full-length ) I probably should just stray away from spamming and leave my current Kuroyume top 3: 1) Nakigara wo... (honestly though, I have overlooked it earlier ) 2) Feminism (one of the best 90s Jpop albums to date, seriously) 3) Fake Star (Essential non-vk hits of Kuroyume can be found here) /end

I suppose there needs to be some positiveness in this topic: I was merely surprised by Butterfly's content - no matter how many single songs were thrown into the tracklist (7 of them, rite?), they just seem to be in harmony after a few good listens. It's also worth noting that Butterfly was more of a "collision of new and old l'arc in one album" - primary examples would be the dominant "True"-era vibes in BYE BYE or a tinge of Winter Fall in GOOD LUCK MY WAY. As the obsessive supporter of Heart and True, this wasn't a downside or anything, but otherwise - a big plus. Pros: - "collision of new and old l'arc in one album" - BYE BYE is still beautiful, and so are Wild Flower and Yukihiro's Shade of Season - Frankly enough, single songs are in some sort of harmony Cons: - Mirai Sekai is missing something - There could have been more new songs (but that doesn't matter album-wise, if we're able to ignore the "singleshooter"-fact overall) As a big L'arc fan, I'll give this 9/10 for now. Great work, boys! Hope you will get back together sooner or later...*cough*Vamps*cough*solo careers*cough*

Frankly enough, Plastic Tree aka "our lovely Nirvana fans that have both legs on vk and non-vk scene" is absent here *cough*slide*cough*fujunbutsu*cough*juujiro*cough* Looking forward to OOR one

"Crash to create"...hmm that sounds kinda aggressive. I suppose there will be old school moments in that song too? Excited!

Celldweller is more of an electronic/industrial metal act (which is based on industrial dance music, not industrial - two different genres), so I don't think that counts ...

^^ Shinya looks so untypically serious D:
  10. is it smh related to Pretsy? that's the only Russian ver. of Finn that knows about VK and Dada Dada knows something about my existence, zomgzomgzomgzomgmustgetback2dragagain On a serious note tho, I adore La Fin, so I am looking forward to this (ps. so Dada will sing in Russian, amirite? Or will he hire some Russian VE fangirl to pull off karaoke instead?)

Rude (Headache and Dub Reel Inch is horribad but c'mon) Continuing: 12012 & Dio -distraught overlord- -> I dislike...*hate* them mainly for personal reasons but in the end I experience some sort of "anti-overhype"-feeling in their case too (ps. Mejibray -hate factor) Lc5 - What are you trying to achieve, Miku-sama? Stop it plz (and let Bou teach you a thing or two...) Angelo - No matter what do fans say about so called "Pierrot factor", this band is still lame - even with new members (Angelo = Freeze-era Pierrot minus very good members (Jun and Aiji) = what's the point?) That's it.

Umm newer Tokyo Jihen/Ringo Shiina stuff? At least they took most of my Color Bars - songs down pretty easily Damn you Shiina
  15. Mavis Fan wikiquote: I am not that acquainted with her works but I gave her 绝世名伶-album a spin, and wow, I never thought that Taiwanese/Chinese music would get me along that easily (Vivian Hsu is an exception, since I cling to her mainly due to Sugizo factor) She seems to have some sort of ~side project thingy~ going on too, called 范曉萱&100% (Mavis Fan & 100%) "Taiwanese Ringo Shiina a la less wacky numbers" would be the good description for Mavis. Hehe Some songs that I liked (while checking her *notable songs*) ro7MdKPc09U qadesMFTKEw Z-raoc8OjPk 2UHrNAWYhrY Fans around here, hello?

Anything but Degbox would be the most righteous answer. (Gazebox is eventually calmer/dead most of the time) (At least these days.)

Haters gonna hate on my industrial-less Einstürzende Neubauten + I would have brought Test Dept. up too, good shit (thx Senedjem again) Fun question: does vk scene have any sort of "industrial band" ?(industrial, not industrock, industmetal etc.), since we have at least one noise act here...
