    I paid a visit to Vertigo Music, located in Grand Rapids, MI, for celebrating Record Store Day; this is my haul, influenced by a few familiar faces whom I caught up with during my time there. Can't wait to spin these beauties!

    What I leave here is the three remaining Secret Santa mixes I worked on before deciding to focus only on SS #2. SS #2 was submitted for the previous trade-off because it was the most flexible out of the four, allowing several opportunities to tell a story however I liked.

    The maxi-challenge this week was a spectacular one, with DeLa and Kennedy's performances being the crème de la crème. Most of the queens got me feeling a certain way when they walked down the runway.

    I actually have no clue why that word is considered forbidden. It would be helpful to hear from a linguist who could provide any answers.

    I can't quite remember which article mentions it, but it has been described as being so taboo that it is neither printed nor spoken unless there is censorship. Another thing to mention about a Dir en grey song is that the long beep in "Mazohyst of Decadence" is in place of kikeiji with the word "Cage" printed in the Gauze lyrics booklet.

    I believe the lyrical content is the reason why Karma has no chance of being included in future releases; the term kikeiji or deformed child is sung. The lyric featuring that word goes like this: (愛し疲れた奇形児と子宮を取り出して眺めてた/I was looking to remove the sweet, weary, deformed child and uterus.)

    (To myself) Bitch, it's only a puppy crush; he'll be graduating in a few months. Yes, his tattoos are attractive as well as his hair, his smile, and his clothing style, especially with that Against Me! patch on his denim jacket. Remember, he's most likely straight so don't waste any damn time.
