  1. Outstanding amazing underground Metal Bands are also welcome. Currently I'm searching for outstanding great NON-VISUAL KEI ROCK and PUNK bands. Whenever a band made a come back after years being inactive or coming back for giving live shows in a while just as TH eROCKERS do, but also THE MINKS made their comeback recently. I'm looking for bands who are outstanding, having a real good sound, something easy to like, something special. Whenever they are already in their 50ties or 60ties or even 70ties. As long they play with the heart I wanna know them Of course, please only ACTIVE bands. Currently a few amazing names; THE DOGGY PADDLE I truly love them, vocalist sings from the bottom of his heart, while the others play their instrument truly to fit the vocalist voice in perfection, definitely check their youtube channel for more. The guys are 31 and 32 years old and already around for about 10 years. And absolute amazing to see live. In those 10 years the guys really gained a bunch of fans and they are getting more and more popular. Other bands are: TH eROCKERS THE MINKS moll THE BILLYYARDS THE STARCLUB 亜無亜危異 VERTUEUX ザ・ナイト・パイレーツ (The Night pirates) 水口晴幸 (He is in different kind of projects) http://pitpirockway.com/ RAMA AMOEBA WOLF & THE GOOODFELLAS MMS R&R ENGINEERING (went to America 2 times.) COOKAI THE VACK’S (The vocalist is like a dad for me, haha.) スネメガマフィー BELLMONDO THE HIGH GRIP レーザービーム (LASER BEAM) [LOUD MUSIC, but the best!] THE REWARD フルダヌキ BILLY THE KID PUNIK GUITAR WOLF And plenty more... @CAT5 @robkun @Tokage @Jigsaw9 Maybe you guys can plop in a few? Also loving these guys Coming back with a new album and going on tour again after almost 40 years... They only existed for 3 years in the early 80ties... (somehow many bands who formed in the 80ties only existed for a few years, gotten popular crazy fast and then also disbanding fast.... yet most people still make music until today) And just found this band Also fit's in my taste... damn gotta add this oldie to the list too, still active

@Jigsaw9 I really thought they were still a small band and kinda wanted to be "smaller" but seems they are gotten pretty big now. They even hit the BARK'S website. Still not 3000 followers on twitter. (official account) but their youtube videos also have like 30-70k views. so you can't call them small anymore. People also don't really talk about HECTOR (ヘクトウ).... seems to be also pretty big... just not overseas. Also just as a side note, they don't have an official website?! o.o I've just re-checked Kizu. How can they be that popular? They are like "big" from the start. Is it because of vocalist Lime (来夢), because he was popular in LEZARD? Was LEZARD really that popular? Or was it mainly because of their BIG crazy announcement, which really caught the attention of many visual kei fans? because everybody thought it would be "AvelCain member new band" The band makes good music, but still it's "O.O" to be that BIG from the very start. So was it just luck? XAA and DEZERT took a bit longer to be that BIG. KIZU was like BIG from the start. and the only active member of that band was Lime, all other members didn't play in a band for a while. Here also on MH, kizu was THE band since their start. VOCALS Lime (来夢) -> Kro:nos as TA+98 → Solo → LEZARD → KIZU (キズ) GUITAR reiki -> Ryticia → LOUD GRAPE → KIZU (キズ) BASS YUE (ユエ) -> DecoLa Hopping → KIZU (キズ) DRUMS Kyounosuke (きょうのすけ) -> KIZU (キズ)

gibkiy, well since they are ojisans I won't add them to the list. Also they are not that popular around Japan, they have fans, but gulu gulu and kizu are way more popular than gibkiy are. beside that I doubt that gibkiy want to be that popular anyway. They could have been, because everybody has a great band past. A wait, I brabbeling nonsens. Just did check their twitter after like 2 years? Seems gibkiy is very active, playing with some bigger bands.... Pretty much promotion is going on... But I've never noticed anything 🤣 thought they were still kinda a "ikebukuro chop" band. but seems they play more japan tours now and bigger halls. just never did notice it... And people here also don't really talk about them.

^ we've been through that already... And it's something we could endless discuss about it. And let's not do that again. XD

Can we please stop sharing digital releases within a day or 7.
  6. BrenGun

bigger photo somehow they look familiar.

^ sounds great live!! I think it's good that they published a live on youtube!

I use spotify to support an artist to play their songs, also It's usefull if I won't buy it on itunes. spotify is useful to try a release before buying it. And you can do that even without to install the spotify app to your pc. I don't stream on my phone. not enough free data for it also it takes power for your phone. So I keep my dear mp3 player to play songs on the road. Also, I don't download songs illigal anymore because of that reason. if It's on spotify, I simply listen to it when I am home. I see no use anymore to share something to the public which can be listened for free anyway 😓

When was gibkiy gibkiy gibkiy actually formed? 2015? 2016? Kalavinka is formed in 2007 😛 But kinda everybody here says KIZU and gulu gulu But actually I don't even wish to call them "popular" because it are bands with "good known bandman". But even XAA XAA (ザアザア) member were kinda known.... So I guess... It pretty much helps if a bandman will be in various bands before his 30ties, then around his 30ties high might could start up a band who get's popular in no time.
  10. BrenGun

AS for now these bands are most popular 2018 Rands (蘭図) 5 votes 2019 NICOLAS 5 votes 2019 RAKU×GAKI (ラク×ガキ) 5 votes 2015 DADAROMA 6 votes 2017 DIMLIM 6 votes 2017 Virge (ヴァージュ) 6 votes 2018 verxina 6 votes 2012 La'veil MizeriA xxxxxxxx 2014 XAA XAA (ザアザア) 8 votes 2017 KIZU (キズ) 12 votes 2019 gulu gulu 12 votes But would these bands really stand out? I also guess that "La'veil MizeriA" is more popular overseas?
  11. BrenGun

It's really good metalcore keep it going like this! EDIT, I checked their older works, and they aren't that great as this track.
  12. BrenGun

Eh.. as far I know they don't disband... However コントラリエ(Contrarie) will disband so.. I kinda mixed up their names I guess XD
  13. BrenGun

Waiting for more responses! I already made a list, but there aren't any clear standing outs yet.
  14. BrenGun

Ah, you right... I just saw they updated their homepage...
  15. BrenGun

did he just joined as support member or as MEMBER MEMBER? It's pretty much unclear, since they don't list him anywhere as official member. Only said, that he joined the band from now on...
  16. Everything sounds almost the same... even the vocalist looks like Yasu.. lol
  17. BrenGun

    Thank you,
  18. Well each member has around 1000 twitter followers... So they do something good and getting somehow more popular. (i.D.A has way lesser followers) Also GOD themes always works good. Japanese people love to hear lyrics with stuff about Bible and God stuff. I'm curious about the lyrics now,, is GOD/BIBLE stuff really included to their lyrics? Janna Da Arc and Acid Black Cherry were very popular and lot's of the lyrics contains bible and prayer stuff. Also ANGELO had a bunch...(maybe still?)
  19. BrenGun

twitter? website? ZERO is an common name, so difficult to search xD
  20. Another interview in collaboration with vk.gy Hopefully you enjoy reading this interview too. Hopefully i.D.A will follow someday too... Why this band? First of all, good NAGOYA bands? where are they? Many are disbanded.... So to support Nagoya Kei a bit, we decided to interview NPC, we also requested iDA, but iDA takes longer to answer the questions.... NPC is really not a bad band their music really sounds decent and good, also on twitter they have more followers than the ida dudes. Their new look is really with and Gott~ I think this band is a nice growing band which is sadly underrated by us. it's a talented band, maybe with members who don't really have a known band history or a band history at all. But surely those guys know how to deliver good music. Their first single really hit greatly. it's a really amazing song. yet... (I prefer iDA 😛 ) I personally don't like this song at all, but I think it's a typical VKEI song which can easy liked by those who totally loves that type of style. After all, if you are a visual kei fan, you won't regret to check this band out. NPC has more typical VKEI parts inside their music than iDA has. I'm sure that's the reason why they got a bit more followers than IDA. Also the guys are fun to follow on twitter! Maybe their interview is a bit "off", still I hope it's interesting enough to really check them out and to share them a little bit extra love. I wouldn't like to see them also disbanding after 2 years (T_T)~~ They are too good for that! And a big thanks to Asakawa Ryu the boss of double river record and owner of Nagoya holiday next. and this is too funny lol
  21. pv seems to be from SHELLMY (シェルミィ 😂 seemed to be a limited joke project, band has disbanded

  23. Hello folks, This time I am not interested in your "disbanded" favorites. However I am interested in your "active" favorites. Only from "recent bands" Bands born between 2012 and 2020. Also please only mention bands you REALLY follow. Not just one you like, Mention those only who you really "care, care" about. So, THE GAZETTE and DIR EN GREY and some other ojisan bands are out of this questionnaire. Please do not mention them. If you don't know when your favorite band started you can check it on vk.gy If you don't feel to answer it on this forum you can use this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/15CAZOQz0Qww6AqJCuxvuyLNZ4q0kK8GtmdUd9InWb5U/edit Also those bands aren't included 😛 SCAPEGOAT 2009 CODOMO DRAGON (コドモドラゴン) 2010 Missa (魅裟)2003 Scarlet Valse 2011 Kamijo 2003 Kiryu 2007 lynch. 2004
  24. Acid black cherry had a bigger fanbase in Japan than the gazette... AbC sold way mor cds than Gazette bsck in the day... *just saying* But I never ever did hear of such fanbase war. as far I know are Gazette fan mostly diru fans too. so it makes no sense to me that there was any hate ever...
