  1. I may have spent 3 hours today crying at the Budokan because MUCC decided to play their selection of MEGA EMO SHIT (from stuff they released from 1997 to 2006 + some stuff from the new album). I mean I was trying to write something cynical but they started the show with Kuchiki no Tou and ended it with Zuta Zuta so it was like a very delicious emo sandwich. I'll never refuse a good emo-sandwich.

I was with my husband at A2. Not German though, but maybe it was us? He lifted one of the crowd-surfing girls on his shoulders at some point. It was so much fun, but it could've been a lot crazier - something just didn't feel right with the energy there. Maybe they should've let more people into the standing block, because it felt like there were only 4-5 very active rows and the people behind us were just... hanging there. XD

I think the thing they did with Myakuhaku as closing/ending is all about the polarity of the two shows - life, death, everything is connected blahblah (<-- reads too much into poetic vkei stunts lol). But I get where you're coming from.

media no juusei is epic, but i think some of the magic is lost in a big venue. when they did it at club citta last month i gained about 10 years of life. plus Tatsurou's theatricality throughout the song adds a lot to it - the crazy man talking with himself and the scary faces. Speaking of - do you remember which song it was yesterday when Tatsurou was alone on stage and just did a scary face with creepy lighting etc. (i was mesmerized XD but for some reason my memory is very foggy on this one).

And holy shit yes! At this point I'm about to go from 'shut up and take my money' to 'take my credit card and do what you need to do'. :(  But seriously speaking, I hope this year doesn't burn them out. All these releases (even if they're remasters/re-recordings/compilations) and 4 tours? They better take a break after this.

Today was a completely different show. This is actually more like I imagined seeing them at Budokan would be. It was HAPPY and CRAZY and FUN. Now I know many oldskool fans don't like this side of MUCC, but on a technical level they were on point (besides a couple of minor slip-ups) and on a personal level my face hurts from smiling because omg everyone was so happy.

@TrentReznorYup I derped, it was danzetsu. Thanks! Looked at the setlist on livefans just now to make sure I didn't make any other mistakes and the rest should be fine.

Yesterday I was trying to remember during which song Tatsurou screamed without his mic and it took me like 3 hours to remember. XD

Yeah, would've been nice to hear Aka or NO?!, but hopefully they'll be releasing an Ieji DVD?

I hope they keep all the mishaps, they were a part of the concert and I kinda like how imperfect it was. But they probably won't. My guess is they'll play wasurenagusa again today and use today's version for the DVD.

I really liked how they chose the songs from myakuhaku that went really well with their old material, it was pretty cool.

Btw, any chance you were the one of two male gaijin in A2? Come say hi if you're in the arena today :)

@Hakoniwait was a special early-day setlist, but they did a bunch of tsuuzetsu/homura/zekuu etc. era stuff when they toured earlier this year too. it seemed like they were kinda trying to cover up the fact that TEOTW ever happened (except ender ender lol).

their next tour (this summer) is gonna be all about their really old stuff, plus they'll be playing super small venues (like rokumeikan in tokyo, which has a capacity of 250) to complete the oldskool atmosphere. so they're hitting that nostalgia-anniversary bandwagon hard and i'm not complaining for even one second.

They already announced they'll be releasing a DVD of their most recent tour, and I hope they'll also release separate ones of their special show in Ibaraki last month + Budokan.

Today is the 2nd day, so hyped!

I forgot my Sony Walkman in a park of my zone and today when i got to check if it was there, there wasn't any trace! Fortunately 60% of my playlist was in my old phone but now I am really pissed off!!
