Good evening. It's Omi, the guy who wants to wear the flashiest underwear in the world. 

I've been eating a lot of noodles this week. I make somen noodles at home, eat ramen or tsukemen when I go out, they're starting to look like shoelaces. 

Actually, I was just eating tsukemen before this. At that tsukemen shop, they yell "iyoisho!" in a loud voice when the noodles are done boiling. Every single employee. It's pretty powerful. 

I think it's a similar concept to the singing at Cold Stones.* They sing songs like "heigh-ho" and other Disney-ish songs so that customers standing in line can enjoy themselves. Every single employee.  Personally, I just want them to stop, but the concept of making the customers have fun is nice so it makes me think. 

No matter what it is, it's important to put life into it. Sometimes we also do a kind of cheer before a live, but it feels like it's missing something so I wanna think of a cheer that flows better.

Well then, tomorrow we have a live at Ikebukuro Black Hole! We'll do our best!

While there are some valid points most of this is turned up to 10. It's exaggerated to the point of no return.
 
Though, I must say, dropping that much on bands? Yeah. It's true. 
 
And of course every band is different. Most people I know have not been attacked at lives. I have had one girl knock into me during mosh because she is possessive but most of the time it's all very civil. It depends on the band though, a grieva fan when moshing slammed into my arm that had a brace on it. 
 
As for gyaku dai, if you are prepared, it generally doesn't hurt that much. If not, what happened to suuu could happen to anyone, especially if the bar isn't padded.
 
I've never really been attacked or felt like I was in danger. I've had my name mentioned or "that foreigner" on tanuki but it was never a big deal. I've never felt a need to hide my social media and never really tried too hard to hide my face in photos. For girls much more heavily involved in the scene tho it is something to consider--the internet bullying.
 
But really there's so much more interesting and great stuff about this scene than "these girls attack you!!" And let's be real: mosh pits in the west are far more dangerous than anything I've witnessed at a vk live. 
 
Shitty musicians exist anywhere. Musicians who sleep with fans exist anywhere. 

not sure if it's true that bands don't know how to play, but it's true that some bands choose to not play. I've been to a few taiban where some bands literally put down their instruments and just dance around to their music. One I saw seemed more like a comedy skit than a live
 
In any case, I agree with @ぺるしゃ猫. some bands have a really crazy, borderline dangerous fanbase,  but a lot of bands' fans are harmless. They definitely should've interviewed different bangya, but I guess that wouldn't have made as interesting an article? lol

Alsdead is one of my favorite bands too!! I really hope they come back from hiatus soon ><
I would like to eventually translate all of their songs, but it's a slow process haha. I'll try to do Trickster next!

I very like the song Trickster but I was never able to find translation for it as far as I remember.

I've been working on this track since last year January and I've finally worked it up to a point I'm fairly satisfied with.
I posted a work in progress in here a while back titled "hold your breath". 
 
It's a blend of chill acoustic sampling and swirls of electronic ambience.

Man, I was pretty excited to try and go see them live after @hiroki recommended this band to me, but looking at their schedule, I'm pretty sure they're based in Osaka T_T I don't see anything on in Tokyo in the next few months T_T I guess this is why I haven't heard of them up til now ><;;

@Mihiomg I love his voice too!! Those are all great songs.... although I just like all their songs really haha. 
I think/hope they're working on something. They have a new song called KAMIKAZE. They're gonna start handing it out for free at their gig on the 17th. I can't go, but my friend is going to try to get me one. Hopefully there are more songs to come! Hopefully there will be more than one song on that CD!

TRA TRA TRA

 
Officially, TRA TRA TRA has been together since January 30,  2015, but they released their demo CD and were doing some lives in 2014 as well. Their bassist, Mamoto, left the band in July 2016. They haven't replaced him yet, but for now they have a support bassist, Yukia, filling the spot. TRA is currently unsigned and do pretty much everything themselves.

I seriously love this band right now and will try to update this thread with new information/releases/etc. from time to time if anyone is interested ^^;
 
Also, if you add their official account on LINE (@tratratra), you can have the chance to talk to the members directly. They take turns chatting with their fans. They'll announce the date and which member on twitter. Usually they'll have some kind of topic or they'll have some questions you can answer to get the conversation going. It's pretty fun! They'll also reply to tweets and DMs on twitter randomly if/when they feel like it
