Oh I know those songs (my friends made me listen to those too XD). I think "Sentimental na Onigokko" could be about stalkers (somehow the lyrics make me think of those dudes who like to take photos of girls without consent or smell panties). Yeah, for some reason they don't make me uncomfortable either, I just giggle at the lyrics XD.

@AimiGen7I stay away from that song too, for probably the same reasons XD. And because everyone I know that likes the GazettE seems to always make me listen to that song XD.

For some reason, sexual Vkei songs aren't that uncomfortable for me, but that's mostly because 90% of them aren't meant to be sexy anyway lol. The only exception is Inside Beast by the GazettE, but there are MULTIPLE reasons I stay the hell away from that song lol

@AimiGen7 Damn 😂. I did close the tab once after I saw what some lyrics from Lynch were XD. Like I don't get embarrassed if they're upfront about the boom boom jigidy jigidy but if they're really subtle or use words that make me think of straight up hardcore bam bam, I get red in the ears 😂

I feel you. It also sucks when you're in the mood for Funk or RnB, because almost every song in those genres are filled with sexual innuendos and some are just the cheesiest ever, and it leaves you feeling like "I think I've been violated in some way, but IDK how"

Just forget about it. I'm just not going to give guesses to anything anymore, because people always take it as if I'm being 100% confident in what I'm saying and all.
I was just giving a guess to the reason why Vkei is so big in Latin and South America. I should've never given my thoughts in the first place, because I knew this would happen.

I admit I don't always get things right and that I don't know everything (And god I used to be much worse and am trying to get past that person I used to be)

Just so you know, and to prove Aimi's points. A whole lot of VK bands have Latin American street teams with staff that works hard to promote the band all over Latin America and not just one country. You see less of that on the English speaking communities and half of those who do aren't exactly street teams but stores.

To further illustrate this point beyond VK, Latin American countries do have some sort of Brotherhood countries like US and Great Britain do not have with their neighbors.

I'd say it probably because it's big in South America. Mexicans and most of South Americans share a common language, so it's easier to form bigger fanbase communities that speak Spanish.
Whereas with English speaking countries, there aren't really as many, so while a Spanish Speaking Vkei community may have members from all across Latin America, English Speaking ones will be mostly United States and Canadians, with some British and Scandinavians. Where as Spanish is pretty much the official language of almost all of South America, and all of Central America, English is only official in a smaller amount of countries, and the only countries I know with a large amount of fluent speakers that aren't the US, Canada or the UK are in northern Europe.

There is a super large fanbase. It might be a cultural thing. Maybe VK is more acceptable/appealing to our culture. And there's people willing to invest in events and artists.
though anime sells more, half of the acts are usually strongly connected to anime.
We have Yama-B and Flow already booked.

Actually, Chile got like 12 Japanese acts in 2017 and 2 in January 2018.

Yeah, Sweden, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina are the most likely.
Most Vkei bands that do come to America, usually only come to Los Angeles, or somewhere in Texas. (Or New York in Morrie's case, as he seems to always preform there)

Bro there aren't any Japanese bands performing in America either. You're more likely to see a Vk band or any Japanese band really, in Mexico or Canada.
