According to some gyas, Jiluka's initial line-up formed in college but idk if they were majoring in music or something else.

Ayame from Matenrou Opera is a professor at a University or institute, can't remember which. Sono and Yu have degrees in music so pretty sure they count as professionals as well. Same as Asagi, and Hikarito went to music school too.

It's basically all synth, but I've heard Takemasa plays the Violin parts in some songs, such as Sakuyoi. Though I can't confirm it. Apparently, most of the ones with violin were composed by him. Also, his old band (with Mitsuki) did have a song called "Wagamama Takemasa", with a violin part.

The Zanteiteki Occult Shuukanshi albums (the two best-albums they released) are a pretty good way to start. I mostly though got into them by poking around what was on Youtube, even if that's not the "proper" way to get into a band. 

Same here. While I like the sound, I don't think that the vocalist is fit for that type of sound. The Matina sound can be amazing if executed correctly, but they just don't really execute it that well, save for a few songs

They preformed with Marco and Kalavinka on New Years, apparently. So maybe not everything is bad. Also Karuna has started posting some pics on twitter as of last month
