Judging from past results I'd say no. You would just end up with people listening to subpar rips and cause headache to archivalists in the future. Plus deliberately sharing low quality rips is kind of an asshole move, one I've long claimed we should have a rule against.

@suji I get your point like you have no idea. I seriously do. And for indie bands that are really dear to me I really want to promote them everywhere but at the same time I know 95% of the people who'll get the rip will see that as an excuse to not buy the CD or digital release.
I get that shipping an custom taxes for CDs can get pretty high too which is why it's nice to help out and spread. But there'a also lots of bands who DO make their music available on iTunes. I'm rambling...

@BrenGunas for Morrigan, it's precisely because they are on tour that I'm waiting a bit. So people actually buy it. It's gonna be right there so they won't have to pay custom taxes and shipping. Once you release something to the public you have the chance of exposure, but sadly you also lose lots of potential buyers who just won't buy something if they can get a free rip.

When it comes to VK it's more likely to find a new fan who's willing to buy than someone who's already a fan to suddenly decide to do it. And for that effect maybe youtube previews are more effective?

Nihon Ongaku aside this is an interesting topic for debate. Feel free to chime in and contradict me. (God, I missed this forum)

Deliberately sharing low quality rips is not a good idea. Usually the first rip uploaded is the one that stays on the Internet, and for that reason it's doing the scene a disservice in the long run.

I think keeping rips here is a good ideal because it would concentrate the fanbase to one place, and I'd be willing to help out in making sure they stay here, but ultimately if people are hellbent on sharing on their blogs there's nothing we can do about it.

even if you would ban someone, the person friends still can share.

you only can hope that they respect your wish. if they don't you better stop sharing.

I only don't share the real rarez.
but that's more out of respect for the band. at least if a band is dear to me in reallife.

but i still wished that artist would do their own promotion work better, to share their music for free or on legal free streaming sites.
but Japanese musicans are slow in understanding that you cannot get rich via selling your music, since the big illigal market.

we share but yet we promote Japanese music still we also break the selling market a lot.

but morrigan music, just share it.
maybe wait a bit more, yet they are on tour, so there will be someone, for sure who will share that CD.

anything you put on the internet can be reposted anywhere at any time. i have no control over what they do. you can ask but it's up to them to respect it.

Who even is Nihon Ongaku and how do they get all of our rips? lol. (Clarification, I know what Nihon Ongaku does and all, but I'm talking about, which member here is them)
I mean, you have to be a member, plus with like 10 posts, just to see the download forum ever since the Kawaiiminpha debacle. So it must be one of the members here who have to have some amount of posts

Thats sort of true, getting kicked out of the VK community is like, you got excommunicated from the community, well at least your doing a better job than them and your also taking full responsibility of your contributions.

That's like getting kicked out of a shanty town. You can't be humiliated by a VK community... as soon as VK is placed in "public" the shame can only be theirs lmao

This may get me shot but,
GazettE fans are the worst imo. It doesn't matter how old they are. I've seen ones in their 40's still drool over Ruki.
Now as a person who loves old GazettE, I'm not referring to all of GazettE fans, but trust me when I say the AvelCain fanbase isn't the worst.
And then you have some of the newer Dir en Grey fans who know nothing about VisualKei, and decide to denounce Vkei bands as being "fags" and be like "I'm so glad Dir en Grey stopped being fags after Uroboros" and talk about how they wish they could trample the little girls that go to their concerts. Those are bad too.

tl;dr - there are much, much worse. Even within our own favourite bands, there are really shitty people

The irony is, it'll inspire so many people to make memes of him even more, just to make him angry. It'll be so funny to see him react to all the dankness.
On another note.. if we get him to drink Chlorine bleach, does that turn him into Salt? lol. I mean, he's already pretty salty already lol
Maybe the exploding of anger is a chemical reaction that turns Issei salty (ok, make me stop with the horrible chemistry jokes lol)

Komorebi reacted to Himeaimichu in i'm genuinely curious as to how dezert became so big to the point of being featured i
Well, Mucc and DEZERT preformed together at an even called "Commune Vol. 1", which had big bands, but small ones as well. There was an interview that went with it and Tatsurou explained how he found out about DEZERT.
"I’ve met several times in private with Miyauchi from Ikebukuro Black Hole, who told me that there is a band he likes and want me to give a try to them. He even handed me their album. Listening to the CD, I’ve felt that desired emotion and it also had a sound I like. There are only a few bands in the current scene which produce such sound, so they got my attention and interest."
My guess is, Mucc opened some doors for them. The right connections will get you anywhere. Just KNOWING someone can get you somewhere.
