I think one album that really defines my time here is Memento Mori's first album, along with the EP that came after (Haikei Haranbanjou Hiyori). I play both at the same time generally because they really represent what Memento Mori was at the time. A new personality on the Vkei scene that came straight out of the small tokyo indie scene. They weren't your normal Dear Dolce band (definitely not Piece). These guys were much darker, and much heavier. They normally had traditional influences, but showed they weren't above making western style horror songs too. Normally, Shinjou Kasumi chose really crappy throwaway bands for his label, but I feel as if he got 3 choices right: Reload, Raddock, and Memento Mori.  
Both their first album, and the first EP, will always hold a special place in my heart.
Why does it represent my time here? It was the original reason I joined, tbh xD

It can be the album you feel encompasses the mood of the forum, the album that meant the most to you during your time visiting here, that rare album that you finally found, or any other possible reason. For me, that album HAS to be D'espairsRay's Coll:set.
 

 
The dark and edgy mood mixed with excellent song writing was just what teen Ito craved and was looking for more off when he was setting up the the forum. I mean, if it wasn't obvious, just look at the forum's original name - Tainted World. Gee, I wonder where we came up with that idea from...

his voice isn't for dark music,Lime's voice will always remind you shounen animes,bcuz his voice was made for it
that's what i expected,the same energy from Lezard but a bit havier.all that shit about listening to your pain was definitely unnecessary,
they aren't a emo/trauma kei like AvelCain....i pass.

I think thats the best class for AC ever used lmao

best cover artwork since aien kien.sounds nice,but i'm in a dilemma with this "modern kiryu"
their music isn't growing on me anymore,this is annoying
 
 

The Shamisen samples in the second one are quite good too~
And yeah, they also kind of remind me when I discovered Kiryu. I'm really hoping to hear more from this band~

wow,awesome atmosphere...the shakuhachi and koto samples are quite good as well
better than Zin samples.Their sound brings me back to 2012 when i discovered kiryu and i got into their first album "Meikiyo Shisui"

Relatively new VisualKei band Kebyou is to either release a new single, or has released one. They uploaded previews on their twitter.

The recordings seem to be VERY low budget, but they're quite good. I can't wait to see what more this band has in store. They definitely bring something a bit new to the table. I can hear mixes of AvelCain and Memento Mori influence. The vocals are ehhh though.

Haha see.. and yet when I was getting into VK they didnt even know what deathcore was really, it wasn't until recently there was a large number of bands writing that style truly as they do in da west. I think both the fanbase and the general population of bandmen in general have narrowed down to be a clear majority of people who are actively looking for the heaviest, darkest, or most aggressive (Where I usually am too) DADAROMA kind of does all of their styles well, or at least they will when someone teaches them how a brass band works. Yoshiatsu's singing is also a precious resource haha, I find his harsh vocal lines are often call-and-repeat style.
 
01. I might like MASTURBATION more without the video haha.. the synth is cooler when it isn't visually pushing a party scene XD.
02. Omg finally their jazz fusion isnt trying to bounce around at 1000bpm this is their best of such I will guess!
03. sounds really typical of a LOT of bands but I hope the instrumental will progress differently :/
04. Is youtube playing Lynch. - Pheonix..? No? False alarm, theres Yoshi now. (it's actually grayt tho)
05. tres spooque. The chorus is alright but not as great as some off DDISM 2.
06. I love the little plucking sound at the end of the guitar riff, it's good overall but quite expected.

seriously tho - even if I feel like dying, that's not the way to go! hopefully you don't either Gichi Gichi!! D: run away from your problems rather! That's the thing that helps me. I've left everything behind before and I'm seriously considering it again.
