There is essentially nothing wrong with a negative opinion or criticism, but it is about the way it is being brought over. It is useless for bands and musicians (and also the people who are doing the criticizing) to turn it into a competition of who can write up the edgiest comment in return for forum reputation, because half of the negative comments bear no substantial content within them and are just there for a gain of popularity between forum members. It doesn't help a band improve, if you know what I mean.
Since the beginning, Sadie borrowed this sound from Dir en grey. They even started out as a Dir en grey coverband. The idea is that people have known for years, and all they do is continue to beat the dead horse because the issue should have long been buried by those that are disappointed. Why constantly bring it up? Is it to torture yourself or to torture the people who continue to enjoy the concept?
It will also turn out like this for Grieva. They implement a lot of Dir en grey's former ideas in their music – and they will be criticized for it for the duration of their career. But the point is; we know. We do not need that validation from people who do not even care in the slightest with every release they churn out because it has been addressed a million times over already. That is what tires fans.

I am barely even wanting (daring, really) to comment on my excitement for this project because any positivity will just get swallowed up. With all the neverending negativity on this forum I wonder if some people still even like the genre in general, but that's just my take on it.
I would say however, that the mystery behind this project might have deluded some people into expecting a tad more involvement of other musicians. But I am glad either way that Mao and Mizuki stick together for a new project while Sadie is on hold.

There is not a single song I dislike, but my favorite has always been ドリスからの手紙 for sure (with Rip Roll Soil being a very close second).

I'm incredibly confused, it really does sound like parts of three different songs mixed up together, and while it could have had some appeal, I really only enjoyed one of those potential three songs.
 
I'd say it is worse than Eiki, because Eiki at least felt like a whole, coherent song.

That's how it is, but you cannot expect from every artist worldwide that they can deal with continuous and pressuring criticism. The internet is a relentless platform, but it is unfortunately the only source of media where middle-class artists can present their work nowadays. You can't say that anyone who isn't emotionally capable of dealing with constant negativity flung towards them isn't allowed or deserving to become an artist of any kind. As I have said many times before; they are just people — not machines. These guys are emotional and feeling, you can't expect everyone to grow a skin as thick as concrete. I personally think they shouldn't have to, but that the public should simply be a bit nicer.

Extremely disappointed in Jin's decision, but probably more disappointed in people's behavior, if that's what caused the issue. VK fans make up for one of the worst online communities I've ever seen/been a part of.

As a longtime lurker (especially in the "Your last music-related buy" thread, because looking at other people's purchases is a guilty pleasure of mine), I finally decided to make an account to perhaps become an active member of the MH community (and to hopefully buy a little something from someone I saw around here...).

Introductions are usually such an awkward thing for me though - I never really know what to say, so excuse my incoherent babbling.
 
I've been listening to japanese music for over 10 years now, and those long years have shaped my music tastes in many different ways and directions. I've recently found myself being stuck to listening to the same old groups that mostly don't exist anymore though, so I went on an adventure of finding something new and exciting... With a moderate success so far. Thankfully, the past members of those old bands tend to have way too many new active projects (ugh, Kazu? aie? Yukino?), so I'm not musically starving just yet. :^)
 
Aside from that, I adore ambient music, ero guro, and I'm very much into gaming and e-sports.
