I just noticed the front of the kick drum is mirrored.
  2. Saishu

Isn't that just his regular kit?

I absolutely love Sukekiyo, but the music is so heavy in terms of mood that it can be difficult to listen to. Especially Immortalis, which is damn near 80 minutes. I often find myself stopping it after Daemon's Cutlery and either taking a break and coming back or just not finishing it altogether. Vitium is a much easier listen though. One of my favorite releases from last year.

It's okay. I think Withering to Death is boring for the most part. Thank god it's DEG's shortest album.

YOU'RE SNOOZEFEST MATERIAL FIGHT ME BRO!!!

How the hell can anyone not like Zephyr? Especially that glorious chorus.

I'm sure when you saw Kyo clawing inside his mouth and punching his face, at some point he snuck a fake blood capsule in his mouth. In the Vulgarism DVD, during Fukai, Kyo appears to slice at his wrist several times. Before that, you see him put something between his teeth and pull. I think he breaks a fake blood capsule and puts that on his wrists. The chest scratching was real though. I don't doubt that.

Arche is stellar. It's everything I've ever loved about DEG wrapped up in one album. In an alternate reality, Arche was the evolution of the band after Vulgar.

Kyo hasn't done any of the self harm stuff in years. Then again, I also believe that most of it was theatrics. He almost always "cut" himself at the same part of the same song every time. The chest scratching was believable, but ripping his mouth open? Cutting his wrists? Nah.

I just hate most VK fans. The way they treat their favorite bands as infallible gods disturbs me. They can't be objective about anything; everything a band does is perfect. And don't dare express any criticism unless you want to be scolded like you're a 5 year old. "If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything and don't listen to the band then waaaahhh!"

Oh no doubt, but I miss the stylistic chaos of songs like Doki Doki Morning and 4 no Uta.

Vanilla by Gackt is probably the easy answer. Pretty sure Dir en grey's Shitataru Mourou is nasty stuff.
  13. Saishu

    I'm gonna guess early 2017.

I prefer the first album because it was more fun. Metal Resistance sound a lot more mature, but I don't listen to Babymetal for serious metal. Like it or not, Babymetal had a gimmick, and that's sorely lacking on the new album.

Rinkaku came out two years before Arche. Clever Sleazoid was almost two years before Marrow.

Well it sounds like they're lip syncing during the "ATATATA" parts, but then they don't even bother to pretend to do the harmonies when Su sings... So I dunno.
  17. Saishu

Hold up, do Moa and Yui ever actually sing?
  18. Saishu

Maybe it was just the small stage, but even they look tired as fuck of that song.
  19. Cool video, but I can't take anymore shuffle beat j-rock. I just can't.

I wonder what the issue is between Sakito and Hitsugi. Honestly, that's a lot of drama, and it's a wonder why the band just doesn't split. It wouldn't surprise me if they come back to celebrate the 20 years, release a single or a mini, then bounce for good. Seriously.
  21. Saishu

They started in 2000. Supposedly they're going on hiatus and should be back around in time for the 20th anniversary.
  22. Actually, looking again, I guess it's a decent mixture. I guess my problem is I'm not a big fan of their material after Kyuutai.
  23. Does MUCC basically ignore the majority of their older material now? Because that sucks.
  24. Saishu

    Most anticipated album for me.
  25. Saishu

If they're preparing for their 20th anniversary, then the hiatus will be four years at the most. That's not a long break for the music industry in general, but in VK it's an eternity because these guys work constantly. They need a break. The music suffers when you have to provide an album of material practically every year.
