This band is really good :D

just my opinion, the reason for their departure from Double River Record might be related to their moving of main activity area out of Nagoya, while Double River Record is Nagoya-based label (their president is also management of livehouse NAGOYA HOLIDAY NEXT), and it is no longer suitable for them to be supported by that label
 
activity going underground usually refers to pausing live performance, and maybe their members would like to devote to production of their potential new album

Understandable. Japanese can be so hard to translate just dealing with the grammar alone.  Thanks for doing that translation! Made me curious to check this band out!

Soft X and soft Z sound the same in English so they could be doing that.

when it comes to music, art, literature, etc., your excitement is fully justified by your own subjective experience of the aesthetic object itself. it doesn't matter that you can't find anyone who feels exactly the same way as you (even though that might be nice), because your excitement shouldn't be contingent on their excitement in the first place. why should that be the case? there's also no such thing as not being allowed to be excited (what does that even mean..?).
 
when people who reasonably differ from your position explain why they don't like something, it's always better to take what they say as an invitation to understand why they don't like x, instead of why you are wrong to like x. this distinction is important because for most intents and purposes, aesthetic statements remain in the realm of the descriptive and don't enter the prescriptive (e.g. "so-and-so ought to like/dislike x"). (an interesting digression: the Emotivists were a group of philosophers who collapsed this difference and asserted that all moral statements such as 'murder is wrong' are effectively nothing but statements about personal taste--needless to say their arguments weren't taken very seriously at all.)
 
alternatively you can ignore everyone who disagrees with you and resist the temptation to engage with them.
 
honestly if i'm only allowed to get excited over releases that have been "approved" by other people i'd be out of this forum long ago. and if there's one thing i've learned it's that agreeing to disagree is one of the most important skills of surviving the Internet without risking a severe stroke.

I think they've played everything but shinitai live? I haven't seen them since the oneman so I haven't heard the other ones--they might not have played yami actually--but my friend said she enjoyed the one(s?) I hadnt heard. A japanese gya described haikei anata e to me and said the ending surprised her--so I'm curious to hear that in particular. 
 
Since my new apartment doesn't have internet, I've only listened on a phone and I was actually unpacking so I didn't catch the autotune at the time tbh. I've got to go back and listen again to see what you mean with it!

Good to hear they played two of the new songs lives and that you thought they were good! I listened to the samples again, and the auto tune seems to fit with the songs. So excited! lol Great to see so many XAA-XAA fans!

The auto tune is interesting... It may grow on me. Overall, pretty good. But these are just samples. Can't wait to get my hands on this and listen to it in its entirety!
