  1. imo its the same formula (as stated) but the execution is fresh and kind of different

the structure seems a little more varied, and i love the vaguely tribal tom part toward the end; im probably ignorant but kai doesnt drum often like that so it just sounded super cooooooooll

also, their supposed dim worship songs end up better than most of dim lol

  2. i honestly dont think the inferno is that bad it just sounds lazy

i rlly dont like hydra (both versions), domestic fucker family, keloid milk, mazohyst (gasp)

is anyone else really finnicky about vulgar? i love half the songs to death and hate the rest

  3. rofl that limitation is fucking ridiculous for such obscure band as MizeriA. at the other hand it's good that dvd will be available through indie stores(any info which stores it'll be?), would be 2easy2get :3 news of the year for sure!

lolz the members have half that amount of followers on twitter who thought this would be a remotely good idea

  4. i love the idea of dressing up for ur music, and i just like fashion on its own but considering how much of modern fashion is inspired by punk/goth subcultures they kind of go hand in hand. i wish it was easier to get goth clothes where i live because i fucking love goth/punk/visual kei fashion and i think its so cool now (as noted in an era of homogeneity) to look like a total freak for your subculture of choice.

    also unpopular opinions:

messiah, sabato, killing me, raven and decadence slay most other single that has been put out post-mejibray.

i tried getting into versailles but besides a few singles they kind of put me to sleep which is so sad considering they're so pretty and great musicians

but the only thing worse than that is the trash on starwave records......hizaki is rolling in his grave as we speak.

  5. uh if anyone was to write a review like this on any other band im sure the whole world would flip shit but its ok to attack mejibray?!?! js....LEAVE MEJIBRAY ALOOOOONNEEE

otherwise ur review on the a side was 99% spot on though, this is beyond disappointing considering mejibray have had some spectacular singles like i couldnt believe what i had just heard. WTF are the comments on the video what are mejibray fans drinking this is wild

  6. LEAVE D'ESPAIRSRAY ALOOOOOOOOONEEE!!

jk im surprised they went into the US market so quickly like why even

DEG prolly knew their shit and knew how to play their cards and if anything thats why they thrived in the NA market

Bands similar to Plastic Tree? Any of its eras

I already know Umbrella, I like shoegaze

try tokyo shoegazer (東京酒吐座), they're rlly good japanese shoegaze

want some western recs too or?

  8. do you mean "music scene" or do you mean "scene" in general, they might halt all north-american export plans and focus on Europe and Asia already now. Dir en grey with uroko visuals or sukekiyo are perfect for Europe and Asia, and I'm not even sure if North American touring gave them anything aside from a couple new connection, mmm....money?

I haven't seen the receipts, they-re almost for sure part-subsidized by Sony Music atm which gets money elsewhere. they aren't an export product for North America atm, and Gazette, for example, aren't touring the US on principle.

i doubt this translates to much profit though but again there's no recipts i know of. i dont think any visual band that goes abroad make any substantial money really.

I beg to differ with you guys above and post this one:

Total clusterfuck of PETA trolling, Lennox/Bowie worshiping and...what-the-fuck-is-that-factor by courtesy of Kaoru

    dir en SLAY

i cant believe i havent seen this before every member looks FLAWLESS

also i like their rick owens moody street goth current looks so their weird phase where they ditched the visual and looked ugly in the mid 2000's is my least fav look

well rest of the band looking FRESH, i hope they'll keep slaying, this project always felt half-sessional idk. this is awesome news tbh.

yeah dont they still have kind of a rotating set-up? either way aie will still produce music somehow so i think the god are here to stay for a while longer.
