I'm not really familiar enough to recognize anyone besides Ladybaby and wrestler dude, which I forgot his name. More suplexes in jpop pls.
Also this happened:

I've never heard of moumoon before, but I like that song a lot. Male Kyary scares me. Some new stuff:
bomi is still really good
Not really new Suiyoubi, but new weird video
You'll Melt More! Not really what I want out of them, but decent song. That POLYSICS produced song spoiled me. Also they have six members now?

As always, the production is point (why do people keep riding on Brave Brothers btw?)
Because as decent as some of his songs have been lately, it's been the same thing for two years. He has zero creativity/variety.
I would probably give WG more credit if they actually played their instruments (since it is band-concept)

Came across this on Mirrorball's channel, I love it a lot. Not a lot out there in the Korean scene like this to my knowledge.

New Seiko is realllly good, I like it a lot. I plan on listening to the new Namie at some point, it'll be my first time hearing anything by her so I have no idea what to expect.
I don't even know if this is pop, but putting it here anyways because Charan Po Rantan is the best

New Kara song, I like it even though it seems like it's just Mamma Mia 2.0
Not as good as this Cupid though

New Gogo Star is such a jam, I really love this hybrid rock/electronic thing that's happening

Everything posted so far has been wonderful
New song from Sweet Revenge is VERY different from what they usually put out. Really wish they would put out music more consistently.

Korean Indie!
Do you like Korean indie music (K-indie) that exists outside of the realm of standard K-pop? Then this thread is for you!
This thread is for discussion of artists that wouldn't really fit in the general K-pop thread, although it can be fairly open to interpretation, as there are many different genres. Talk about what you're into, what you're looking forward to, etc.
K-indie isn't as easy to find as its Japanese counterpart, so here are some resources:
If you're not familiar with K-indie and would like to get started, Magic Strawberry Sound has a name your own price sampler

For me I've REALLY been liking Cheeze's new album 1.5집 PLAIN (1.5 since half of the songs are remasters), so far it's my favorite album of the year. I really like their style of music, and every song is a pleasure to listen to. Here are a couple favorites:
Another one of my favorite albums this year has been Fromm's Moonbow album, she has a very nice light and mellow sound to her.
I'm not sure how popular this thread will be, but I know there are least a few people that have been known to show an interest, so come on in.

Native English, studying Spanish and Korean. Grew up with half of my family speaking Spanish which has helped a lot I feel like I can understand 50% of what's being said, but still have a long way to go. Need to find a better way to balance studying both.

When did AKB48 start making mini-movies for their MVs? I find the song mostly boring, but this is pretty rad to watch.

I just finished Broken Age Act 2 found it to be kind of a mess. The puzzles are pretty obnoxious, and you don't get the same level of character interaction and story as the first part. It really shows that they had to work within a budget, as it seems they just threw it together and completely forgot about making a coherent story.

I'm all for some hep hap

"Bae Bae" (quite corny title btw) is decent but "Loser" is definitely one of their drowsiest "half-ballads" :/
Hoping for bangers in the vein of FANTASTIC BABY or even MONSTER...
They're putting out a new song every month, so hopefully they're saving the good stuff for later. I'm the opposite though, I didn't really like Bae Bae except for the MV, but I really like Loser.

AH yeah is really good even though its basically the LE and Hani show. I still have no idea why Zico is in that BASTARZ song, but its the jammiest of jams.

What a fucking mess. I guess I no longer have to worry about proper tags and upvoting images, because I am done.
