I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH, YASH. The opening is so god damn catchy, and the characters are so annoyingly lovable. The relations are really fun to watch and see develop (apart from one VERY obvious missed opportunity of a couple!) Too bad after the rest of the cast left, the series fell downhill pretty quick (Rudy is pretty much the single saving grace). Still, it's well worth a watch even with those later episodes. Any fans of Game of Thrones who come here, see Iwan Rheon in another creepy but MUCH more enjoyable light, lol (and being one half of one of my favourite TV couples ever). The comedy is totally typical of British teenage entertainment, but in a clever and engrossing way. I'd be surprise if anyone dislikes this show tbh. P.S - Nathan is precious.

Am I the only one who had to drop it at this point? It's been a good many months since I last bothered to check out the new chapters (is it even still running actually...!?), but I did try to catch up on many occasions but couldn't bring myself to do it. I feel like there's way too many support characters that have been left in the dust, and my interest in the manga is at a new low. The arcs had been getting stale since the Fullbringers were introduced, but I still kept with it because I really adore so many cast members. Its finest moments are all in the Rescuing Rukia arc which was at the very start to me. The Arrancar arcs were also quite enjoyable, but that was when the story was starting to bug me. The Quincy War one is where it lost me for good. How has everyone else been keeping up with it?

I'm spoiling myself due to my YouTube subscription feed with people going over the latest manga chapters, but I'm only in the midst of Fishman Island, and I had been so excited to get to the time skip, and now that I'm here, I really need to just catch up to the anime. I'm so interested in so many minor/supporting characters who I want to see more of (MORE OF THE SUPERNOVAS PLZ). And knowing what the upcoming arcs are in the anime doesn't help (especially knowing how good most of the anime's fillers are I'll have to check out once I finally get to the new episodes)! Having experienced Naruto and Bleach previously, it's wrong OP is considered a Top 3 with them. It's on a whole other level. While I was disappointed with some moments (Marineford arc in particular), but super delighted with others more so than I was expecting (Thriller Bark and Impel Down), I can't believe I never could have brought myself to get to it before. I know I wouldn't have bothered at any point, so thank you, @CAT5!

^ There are SO many instances where it's not just in your face or not as obvious, but I've always thought and discussed with others how Japan seems to be so open and seemingly polite that it's almost a mask to this kind of "fetish" which seems to be so normal to them. They might not have any fear, disgust, or opinion towards it, but it makes it look like it's common and accepting, not just supposedly funny in anime, or even as a plot line, but something that they welcome into this perverse side of them outside of anime. I've always hated not just the full on fan service aspect of anime, but this sexualized no-no of a relation. It's not just awkward and cringe worthy, but simply not right or normal. Like this BBC documentary covered Babymetal and idols alike, and I forgot the dude's name, but he was an 'expert' in this field of music and said how when he asked older men who are fans of AKB48 why they listen to them, their answer was on the lines of "because it's like I'm seeing and supporting my sister". Really? Seeing these mostly underage girls in skimpy outfits is when you think of your own probably younger siblings? It's questionable, and it always will be. I do not and will not understand anyone who enjoys or thinks it's fine to do. It might just be a cultural thing, or preference, God forbid, but I could rant about this for a while.

I study, so I have no intention of getting a job any time soon but do that and volunteer. But I do still get a bit of pocket money now and again. I spend that on whatever hobbies I may be into mostly at the time. At first it was anime and manga, iTunes, books, and now video games.

Wanted to start this topic up mainly because of discovering this on Netflix: The basis and rules are simple, unlike other similar reality shows like Big Brother where they have to do challenges and is encouraged to be outlandish, with celebrities, and other shows like Georgie Shore, where the supposed "no script" is an obvious lie. They're all strangers, and quite close in age, and sometimes interests. The only guideline is: “Three men and three women live under the same roof, recorded with no script, and only thing provided are fancy house and two cars.” In Terrence House, there's something sincere and genuine about the whole thing. Studio commentators, from the show presenters (such as Ehara Yukiko and Reina Triendl) to comedians and actors give out comments from the same clips we see at the same time, usually giving snarky or funny remarks, and predication/discussion on the individuals' traits and suggestions from what we have also only seen. I personally like how interesting it is to see how they socialize in an environment unlike what I've seen from Britain and America. Similar, but the whole culture is different, and it's surprisingly heartfelt. All we know of them when we first see them come in one by one, from male to female, are their name, age, and occupation: From left to right- Makoto Hasegawa - University student, baseball player Yuriko Hayata - University medical student Tatsuya Uchihara - Hair stylist Mizuki Shida - Office (sports) worker Yuki Adachi - Tap dancer Minori Nakada - Model and student This is such a worthwhile watch. I had to put down what I was already doing and just wanted background noise but ended up watching quite a few episodes (not nearly done with 18 to get through!). Any thoughts? Anyone else seen this or something similar? Or does anyone else like the bigger ones? Use this thread to share and discuss anything reality TV!
  20. I agree it should mainly be used as a style, but I personally use it as a genre too, and I see official sources like Amazon, IMBD and wiki/google use it as a category. I've always viewed it that way. And in case of finding categories such as War and Historical, which I had never really thought of as such, I didn't think it'd hurt to include Animation. Guess you could call it a preference. I'd call Porco Rosso that you've listed as an "animated adventure film" for example. As for my answers, I like things mostly family/children aimed for my movies. Comedy mostly, and fantasy sometimes are my preferred options. Musicals are a guilty pleasure.

^ omg I had to look twice at you saying it looks too real, lol. I was wondering what the 'actors' names were! XD Will have to check out as much XV stuff as possible. Looks damn neat!

I'm interested to hear more on this now. From what I've seen of it, there's not much difference to it than BD, and I haven't even completed that, so I wasn't going to buy it but now I must do a bit of looking into!

Been playing both story paths, mostly Hoshido. Well worth getting the cartridge/special edition to get all three routes instantly on it together. I already knew the gameplay would be great, somehow a step up from Awakening which was already super entertaining, but its the characters which are the pleasant surprise to me. All got their own individual manners and characteristics that make them all lovable (or hate-able), more so than any other RPG I've played. Could talk about it all day, too addicted and I need to do a lot of work before the deadline. DAMN AWKWARD RELEASE DATE.
