  1. I was over at my Aunt's house who loves anime and Japanese music, and I heard Dir en Grey and then Malice Mizer.   Then I fell in love and looked them up on the internet for weeks haha.  I would download the music videos which back then took me like 3 days or more to download lol.  When I saw how they looked and dressed I thought I was in heaven :D

  2. I love to watch Harshly Critical, he does let's plays of horror games, mostly indie ones.  What I like about him is that he's not fake and doesn't annoyingly scream and wake up my daughter when she is sleeping.  Plus he reviews games well.  I'm stuck on a macbook so, I watch all the windows indie horror games he plays.  Also....I'm sometimes to scared to play games myself haha.  Although I have played through Silent Hill, old Resident Evil's, Fatal Frame/Project Zero and Siren.  Good times, but wow, it took me awhile.  I love and hate horror games what can I say lol.  Anyways yeah, so I also watch Vsauce which has a bunch of random shows that have to do with video games, from game loot to random questions explained.

I basically use youtube for gaming videos, nothing else lol.

  3. 1: Do you buy multiple versions of releases, or buy at all? (Judgement-Free-Zone)

I didn't used too, but now I kind of do and I hate it haha.

2: Do you collect cheki or other non-music related items from bands?

Paying 15$ for a tiny ass polaroid is ridiculous!  But don't care if people buy them, but I like to get magazines that have my favorite bands, don't really care about mirrors or t-shirts.

3: Follow them on Ameblo, Twitter?

    Yes...

4: Would you follow them on the street?

No.  But if I saw Toshiya on the street I would probably stare like a rude asshole.

5: Dig through their trash? (Judgment-Free-Zone)

    No.

6: Does Visual Kei or other forms of your musical taste influence your style or personal life?

Style, don't think so.  I shop for clothes at thrift stores and don't really care but I pretty much wear skirts over pants everyday.  Personal life? I don't know.

7: Desire to move or visit Japan influenced by music?

Hell yes.  Want to visit really bad and go to all the awesome stores/events/concerts.

8: Do you read dirt-sheets of bands, like rumours, gossip, etc...?

    Um, no.

9: Ever fantasize about being friends with band members? (JFZ)

    Haha, that's a secret.

10: Do you want to be in a Visual Kei band (or any other kind of band)?

I don't think I could be in any band.

  4. This is just amazing, I loved all the songs although some were defiantly better than others.  I am seriously in awe.  I love how it is very Kyo yet at the same time refreshingly new and unique, just completely different.

    10/10!

  5. I really love this album, 黒のダチュラ is one of my favorite Lycaon songs.  I love his voice now better than before, I don't really care for screaming but I don't mind it as long as its not the whole song.  I loved Royal Order but I defiantly love the way Lycaon is going.  And I love it when electronic meets rock.

  6. For those of you playing or who have played FFX HD Remix, should I get a PS3 or a VITA to play it?  I'm leaning towards PS3 for the 48" tv experience, but the headphones experience might be pretty awesome with the VITA...

I have both versions, you should get the PS3 version if you really care about graphics and faster loading times, but I personally love it on the vita because I have played these games a million times on a TV and I don't really care about graphics or loading.  Just having the ability to play it anywhere is pretty awesome ^^

The way you worded it, does that mean you don't have a PS3 or Vita already?  If that's the case, I would get the PS3 because there are more games and it's probably cheaper than the vita lol.

  7. As a fairly new member as well, I welcome you here :D it must be quite interesting to have followed vk bands for so long! Ah, 1999... when D'espairsRay were only beginning :P

Lycaon, I haven't listened to any of their releases in such a long time! I should go back to that! Whereas Mejibray... *purrs*

And I've had the pleasure of seeing ADAMS for a few short songs last week, when they did a mini showcase for heidi's tour final in Paris :) I should keep an eye on them, too *smirks*

Thank you, and welcome yourself lol.  Yeah I suppose so,  a lot has changed haha.  Oooooh I love D'esparis Ray XD  Glad you have great music taste ;)

And thank you everyone else for the welcomes! ^^

  8. The new single 「馬鹿ね。」has been out for a week now. What did you guys think about the single?

I was really surprised how much I liked it. ドグラマグラ is great! I'm really glad I bought that single.

I like it a lot, for some reason 馬鹿ね。reminds me of the 90's lol, which isn't a bad thing.  I pretty much like the whole single xD  Can't wait until 『 悪女の微笑』 comes out ^^

  9. ARE YOU ALL RICH? (or am I just too poor?)

I am not spending much money on CD releases. First, I mainly buy used VK CDs that aren't from such uber-rare bands. So the prices are not that high. I mostly order a batch of CDs for like 40-60€ every 2 or 3 months. I buy new releases only form bands that are really my top faves, which would be just Grieva and NightingeiL at the moment. I wouldn't even have the money to be able to spend more than 30€ on CDs every month, let alone 200€ for VK CDs in a year. That's because I happen to find it more useful to save up my money for a flat, a car licence or anything else I'd like to have in the near future. Also I already buy enough non-japanese music and clothes.

I wish though to spend more money on japanese CDs and rarez once I may get a job and a stable income.

Haha, I am far from rich, just more established I guess.  Usually it's always the shipping that kills me, places like Brand X only allow EMS for international purchases which by itself is about 20$. Crazy.

  10. Yeah you can just drag the video folder to your computer but I tend to use DVD Decrypter since I had a few problems with that first mentioned method with one DVD, whereas DVD Decrypter has worked for every DVD I've tried so far.

Yeah that's okay, I'm fairly new to ripping too and I had my fair share of problems with DVDs when I first started. But eventually you will learn, and it's not like anyone here in MH is going to slaughter you for making a few mistakes while ripping sth :D

But welcome here, and please join the chat sometimes! :3

Oh well I just dragged Akutoku no sakae to the desktop, and I am uploading it to Mega, since I guess that is your favorite xP  I hope it works, it says it will take about 3-4 hours to upload though, gah, I hate my internet, I just hope it doesn't die while it uploads!

Thank you for your kind words ^^;  I will, although I warn you I am very socially awkward lol xP

  11. Yeah, I can try ripping the DVD once I have it! What program did you use for ripping it?

Yes please, upload the DVD from Akutoku no sakae Hiyuu version! :D And if it's not too much trouble I'd request a .vob rip!

Well I have uploaded the following releases in ALAC/.VOB and in some cases in 320 kbps too:

    Bara~Rose~ (all types + DVDs)

Masochist Red Circus (+ limited edition DVD)

    Akutoku no sakae Yuuki ver.

    Bakane

    Declaration of War

    Cordyceps sinensis

    A Box in Beautiful

    Memai/mayaku mayaku ver.

Royal Order (I'll upload the limited edition DVD probably today)

That's unfortunately all I have, but I'm pretty sure you have something I haven't already uploaded! :D

I will do, but I am not sure on how to rip .vob files do I just drag the video ts folder? I'm on a Mac so I use Handbrake.  It was really weird, even my dvd player wouldn't read disc two.  I'm new to this whole ripping thing lol so sorry if I seem clueless!  I pretty much have what you have, but I am working on getting more, every month I try to buy something lol, this month has killed me with Bakane and Akujo no Hohoemi.  But I have Adventure and Uso to Onna.

  12. Oooooooooh, do you have something that I haven't uploaded yet? :3 What is it? Though I have something left to upload too - DVD from Royal Order Limited edition is still to be uploaded and I'll recieve Yukizuri no onna DVD on monday!

Yeah, that sounds so much like Satoshi it makes me laugh XD

I uploaded Yukizrui no onna today ^^; I've had it for awhile but finally got around to ripping it, I had a lot of trouble with the second disc though, maybe you will have better luck.  I'm not sure what all has been uploaded yet, but I have the Akutoku no Sakae DVD from Hiyuu's version.  What else is there that needs to be uploaded hehe?

  13. Yeaaaaaaaaah, more Lycaon fans!! :3 Lycaon is my favorite band too. It's always so nice to get to know more Lycaon fans! I noticed you have already found a ton of my Lycaon downloads from the download section :D And btw did you like SET ME FREE?

Welcome to MH! Ichiro looks so handsome in your avatar.

Yes!  Lycaon is amazing!  I agree, I haven't really met that many, hehe ^^;  Yes I did, I am slowly building my collection because it is so expensive haha!  Sorry for lurking, yes I love Set Me Free!  For some reason, there isn't a single song by Lycaon that I don't not like, and it rare for a band to do that to me.  But I can definantly feel the Satoshi influence in that song lol!  I am also trying to upload my Lycaon goods, that you haven't already so kindly done so <3

Thanks!  Yes, he is a very handsome man xD
