This is an open forum, where it's users are allowed to freely post their opinions on whatever is at hand. She was making a point. This "census" will be vastly incomplete and inaccurate.

If you're curious to how many users we have in each country/whatever, could have simply asked.

I would think Kai has this info from the IP addresses that visit this site.

That's true, the current system is superior to the old one, lots of improvements have been done! I'd like to express my gratitude towards Kai Excited on what's planned for DS also!
