Nyasagi 259 Posted December 13, 2017 I hope this website won't die, because it's the best source for checking the previous bands of musicians.
Zeus 7997 Posted December 13, 2017 I hope he archives the site even if he doesn't return to it. What's there is a valuable source of information we can't get elsewhere. Losing that would suck. I don't want the 00's and the 10's to be the new 90's in terms of lost information and lost bands. 1 helcchi reacted to this
BrenGun 2261 Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) I don't think he will delete the site, he also wrote that he hopes to return this June with a renewal. So maybe he takes 6 months to develop something new? anyway his personal twitter and instagram https://twitter.com/kuwavkdb https://www.instagram.com/kuwavkdb/ @doombox I guess that won't happen. There is nothing written that the site will be deleted. Only that the site will be go on a break this January. Edited December 13, 2017 by BrenGun
doombox 4421 Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) Basically same thing as @Zeussaid. Losing all the info on that site would be a gut punch to the historians of the scene. 9 minutes ago, BrenGun said: @doombox I guess that won't happen. Hopefully you're right and he is able to return like he says. Edited December 13, 2017 by doombox 1 BrenGun reacted to this
patientZERO 1066 Posted December 13, 2017 I always assumed it was like Wikipedia with it being crowdsourced, but now knowing there's one man behind it all, he certainly deserves a break. I just hope he comes back! 2 HotaruFilth and suji reacted to this

chemicalpictures 1888 Posted December 13, 2017 Damn... together with Grass Thread (Which was such a bless when it was still updated), vkdb is the most reliable source of information. Really hope he comes back someday
Tanishi 598 Posted December 14, 2017 Yeah it's a very valuable site. There's also this Japanese site that I'm sure most people know about: http://www22.big.or.jp/~yunisan/vi/dic.html
