Tony 1 Posted February 5, 2011 Earthquake is not bad for a demo, i like.
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted February 6, 2011 Someone posted a fake tracklist on the Gaga forums and... it was just bad. Like, they wrote the "composers" and listed RedOne and his real name as different composers. And some of the tracks were just like.... Seriously? Oy. I would just like a legit tracklist. Also, there is a snippet of Lady Gaga and Elton John's song Hello,Hello on Gagadaily.com and it's... to die for to say the least. I hope the LGEJ version makes it onto BTW or something because I NEED it.

Like, they wrote the "composers" and listed RedOne and his real name as different composers. And some of the tracks were just like.... Seriously? Oy. I would just like a legit tracklist. LOL. Somebody's trying to be fit in? Also, there is a snippet of Lady Gaga and Elton John's song Hello,Hello on Gagadaily.com and it's... to die for to say the least. I hope the LGEJ version makes it onto BTW or something because I NEED it. OMG, is that the soundtrack for upcoming animation movie? Gonna visit the website! ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted February 6, 2011 Unfortunately, Chianti, the version of Hello, Hello that is on the soundtrack doesn't include Mother Monster, but the one in the actual film Gnomeo & Juliet does. It sounds flawless. They need to release the duet between the two. It sounds like a cash cow.
LIDL 692 Posted February 7, 2011 hm, i hope they will put that duet track on some other version of the OST CD :/ that snippet sounds like cut out from the animations indeed, cmiiw. Sounds like a good ballad.
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted February 7, 2011 My thoughts are thus: The song is an inevitable cash cow, therefore they will sell it somewhere. I know for fact it won't be on the soundtrack (out tomorrow) and I don't think it will be on Born This Way, as I have a gut feeling and my gut is usually right. What I honestly think will happen is, they'll use the fact that she's featured in the movie to get more people to go see the movie and then when it's out of theaters they'll sell it as a single on iTunes, OR release the soundtrack AGAIN, this time with her on it.
Erin 19 Posted February 7, 2011 ^ they'll probably release a second OST. There are movies that release 4, wtf.
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted February 8, 2011 And you know what it'll probably be? The Gaga duet and then a bunch of scores. Boo. But I still need that song. Also, the interview with Gaga on Anderson Cooper looks pretty sweet. The preview is good and will be on at 7 on CBS on Sunday right before the Grammy's. ALSO, the single or Born This Way will now be released Friday, February 11th, at 9 am and will be played on the radio starting at 3 am.
LIDL 692 Posted February 8, 2011 maybe it's like previous soundtrack by Elton, The Lion King, where there's 2 version of Can You feel The Love Tonight. One was sang by him and the other one taken from the Movie, sang by another singer. And on special edition, where there's remix version of it.
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted February 8, 2011 ^You know what? That makes a lot of sense.
LIDL 692 Posted February 8, 2011 Yea, i hope it will be this way than 2 parts of CDs though i wouldn't complain if that happen xD and, more about Born This Way single, coming Friday. More tease around! BTW PV filming and live tweets: Director: Nick Knights (Lady Gaga Statue maker for Brit Awards, photographer) Choreographer: Laurie-Ann Gibson (Poker Face, Love Game, Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Telephone, Alejandro) Filming dates: January 22 - January 24 2011 "ok kids, get ready for BTW. we've just created the most amazing thing ever." 6:35AM Jan 24th via web #BornThisWay Will Be Better Than You Think Have you ever been a part of something that was so profound, so inspiring, so incredibly beautiful, that as it was happening, it brought tears to your eyes and you had being given a gift, and you were Thankful. It happened to me + I am Thankful. 1/22,1/23,1/24- 2011 LADY GAGA-# BORNTHISWAY" Jan 24th via web BTW first early review: [quote name="On February 7' date=' 2011, Popjustice offered their review of the song"] Well it’s sort of amazing. Actually it’s not sort of amazing, it just is amazing. And yes we would say that because we do genuinely think Lady Gaga is the best thing to happen to pop in at least 18 years. But we are also saying it because the song is amazing, and if that ’s not complete objectivity we don’t know what is. The production is far from boring (it sounds great and nothing like what Gaga ’s done before) but if you’re expecting some sort of death metal/ Belgian techno crossover hit you may wish to adjust your expectations ahead of Friday ’s first play. It’s a fresh sound, but in the mentalness stakes it ’s not the sort of song you would fire across a field at a cow if you wanted to make it do an involuntary poo. We are sure the rest of the album will offer plenty of sonic ridiculousness but ‘ Born This Way’ is all about giving the song itself room to breathe. Perhaps the moment when ‘Born This Way’ clicks as a completely normal pop song is the moment when ‘Born This Way’ has changed pop.
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted February 8, 2011 I've read all that stuff and seen all those pics already, lol, but it doesn't matter because seeing them again... I'm SO excited. I wonder when BTW's video will debut... I hope it isn't too much after the song. Maybeeeee..... that's what she'll be doing on Leno on Monday!
LIDL 692 Posted February 8, 2011 i hope so too. i am not fond of Leno, but i'll watch for gaga xD maybe at least there'll be snippet of PV orsomething. when it hits the radio, ususlly OV will follows. and i think i kinda late with previous post xD Sorry for that. LIDL 692 Posted February 11, 2011 ^ YAY~! we can finally hear it in less than 24 hours now, Little Monsters! The video will be released on February 13, 2011, the same day she will be performing at the 53rd Annual Grammy's. Also, Judas is scheduled to be second single
Erin 19 Posted February 11, 2011 Judas? LOL 8 1/2 hours! I wanna hear this
LIDL 692 Posted February 11, 2011 yes on March 2011 issue of U.S Vogue, she reveals there'll be 17 tracks on the album. which 5 of them are named. Besides 4 tracks that have been mentioned on previous post, another confirmed tracks are: - Americano - Government Hooker - Judas - Hair - Bad Kids so 9 confirmed tracks so far. And Gaga partnered with Target for the album. Target will sell an exclusive deluxe edition with 3 extra studio recordings and 5 remixes. It will be available for pre-order between February 11th-26th. edit: so, rumour has it. Gaga will do a duet with MUSE on Grammy this year. MAKE THAT HAPPEN PLS~! <3 *though i will be very glad if she's doing a solo for BTW* edit #2: more shouts about BTW album: I haven't hear it myself, but what I've heard from the record company was... Gaga and her entourage came in and they got all the executives from around the world into a room. And then she walked out, and then they (the executives) were just sitting there, stunned. They couldn't believe how great this record is, and they just can't believe that shhe's been able to back it up again. The hype is deserved. Everybody is going bonkers (over the album), it's incredible! The whole Gaga album thing, it's just gonna be an event, It's just the beginning of it (with the single release), when the album comes out, it's gonna be even bigger. It's exciting stuff. oh also, again, you need to read her interview on Vogue March issue. and you'll see why Gaga is Gaga and not Madonna, Janet, Kylie nor Britney. Very inspiring! some cut out from the interview, where the interviewer, was having super early preview of the single: The song at first sound suspiciously like a Madonna tune, and then switches into something that feels a bit like a Bronski Beat hit and then finally transforms into it's own thing: A Gaga Original. Clearly an homage to the obscure underground disco record, " I Was Born This Way" it is an unbelievably great dance song, destined to be the anthem of every gay pride for the next 100 years. Tony 1 Posted February 11, 2011 Well the song is out on her official website. Its horrible. Takes too much from Madonna's 'Express Yourself'. The beat is forgettable, lyrics are cheesy. Not really much to like at all. edit - it does kind of grow on you with more listens.
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted February 11, 2011 I like it. (nothing special but it's okay) I hope her other songs will be a little bit more wholesome (or how to say it xD).
LIDL 692 Posted February 11, 2011 It's Awesome! a good classic 80s dance pop. so glorious, very ear catchy for first single. not heavily synthesized but still dance-able. a song that would be welcomed by many peoples young or old.
doaseternity6 93 Posted February 11, 2011 Took some time outta of my alice spree to listen to it but I gotta say it didn't really move me, I kept thinking it sounds like another song and then reading this thread realized which one it was. It's not terrible but I really can't say that I really enjoyed it either. I may give it a few more listens though when I'm less distracted and see if my feeling changes. Erin 19 Posted February 11, 2011 Sorry, but to my expectations, that was completely not-awesome at all.
LIDL 692 Posted February 11, 2011 xD that's fine though. I guess most people wishes for something like Bad Romance?
Peace Heavy mk II 7200 Posted February 11, 2011 It was a nice song, very Madonna of her. Excited about the rest of her album ^^
