well, it seems like i've decided to start a baroque collection now. (old baroque at least)

i never thought i'd see the VHS for sale so i kinda bought it on impulse when i saw it listed on rarezhut. and i bought everything else they had of baroque, which was the chaplin and sukebe boy single. these arrived last friday~ the sug life album was from an earlier purchase.
(also i noticed that i missed the chance for a discount after finalizing my order, but oh well, small order anyway. you guys deserve the extra dollars for all your hard work!)
 

i bought these baroque photobook/pamphlets from @anakuro (way back in march! i'm posting this really late i know, haha)
and i got a free magazine featuring kei along with it (not pictured).

these flyers came in free as well. (thanks again! ^^)

I've gotta back @Kiryu999 up here.
While they started as VK, now they are not VK and haven't been for about a year (after Yukihisa left & they joined a non-VK label, FILM STARS). Moreover, they don't play with VK bands anymore either. They mostly play at venues that are geared toward non-vk lives or ones that are general purpose (VK & non-VK).

I must admit my interest in them has dropped off quite a bit over time.. but maybe I'll grab the new CD. Maybe I'll hit up a show in Osaka one day... I did pinky promise Satoshi I'd go again. 

I got the last 2 Crystal Lake albums on vinyl for the collection. <3

Hey! Obviously I'm new here haha.
 
I'm Sara, you can call me by name or by my username or whatever (my username is a joke btw... though I don't know if I'm considered bangya anyways just by default).
 
I'm mostly here to talk about Vkei, though I do like other Jrock. I just happen to live in Japan and going to lives is my hobby (it takes up so much money it's pretty much my only hobby). I don't really go see any bigger bands, except Nocturnal Bloodlust but even they're still small compared to some. I usually go to Nagoya lives (I will go to Osaka or Tokyo for special occasions, I recently went to Kansai Rock Summit in Osaka since so many bands were playing!). I like ジン, Smileberry, Sick2, BFN (before they disbanded obv), Elysion, MeteoroiD, FED, 真天地開闢集団ジグザグ (saw them for the first time in Osaka this past Sunday, they were incredibly live!), and a lot more I can't think of.
 
Anyways, I know all the bands I go to are smaller but if you guys want live reports I'd be happy to do it. I'm excited to listen to more Jrock outside of Vkei but also of course welcome vkei recs if you have any!

Finally gave these guys a listen.  First song I heard was "Yuki Tokei" and I was not impressed, but, then again, I'm not a fan of ballads written in 6/8; they just bore the piss out of me.  However, next song was "Doshaburi no Kanojo" and HOLY SHIT!  These guys GET IT!"  It was like listening to good, classic VK unsullied by current western trends.  I'm actually excited to continue listening.  Unless you want to count Sukekiyo as a VK band (and I don't), XAA-XAA are the first VK band to impress me since NoGod first hit the scene (and I got tired of them like five years later, but that's a different story). 
 
So yeah!  Nice to see a new and young band that seems to capture the spirit of why I fell in love with VK in the first place!

This is the limited edition with 1999 different covers, and after looking at mine, my friends, and a couple other Ensoku gyas' copies they do vary a lot!

And finally, I picked up Minus Jin-Say Orchestra's Shisshin yesterday!

Unveil Raze is p cool
I'm getting into Hone Your Sense as well
And I really really really like Proxyon (thanks for the heads up on them @Tokage)

If anyone has any suggestions based on these let me know?? 
Because I am pretty interested in branching out from my VK hovel.
