  1. I really liked the song - the intro riff rocked and I liked the instrumental breakdown in the middle. It is a tried-and-true formula for lynch. and felt a little stale, but that didn't prevent me from enjoying it. The smoke effect in the PV was a cool visual touch. A solid track of what they do well. I am sure I will like it more with each listen.

I love reading about song concepts and inspirations. I hope the music is outstanding - I'm looking forward to the finished product.
  3. As long as it is nothing as bland as blanche - I always thought that Leda and Sujk drove Deluhi's sound more than anything, so I was much more excited for Far East Dizian than this. But, considering I like Hiroaki's work with 12012 - that makes me optimistic that it will have a drak and agressive edge to the band - then again, 12012 did go through the pop-rock phase...

I have to admit, the SE creating a more creepy vibe that I was expecting for this project. I won't judge until i hear a song. Of course, I'm intrigued and hope it will be spectacular, but I'll wait until the 23rd.
  5. After hearing them in the recent releases list recommended by Fitear1950, I tried their Liquid single out and adored it. After checking out their other releases and loving them, I can't wait to hear this.

I'm going yo try to go to the Seattle Show while traveling on business. I should time it just right. This is great news!

I'll miss them. As a long time fan - I feel it is the end of an era. They were most definitely underrated, and I am sad to hear them go.
  8. I'm all in for this. Akito is one of my favorites, despite his recent efforts being sporadic and hard to find.
  9. Badass covers! Anything by this band will usually get my love and admiration. Despite all of the recent release negativity some others have given them, I loved Gallows and Exodus and know these tracks will be good in my book.

Want to be excited, but Roach has been a mixed bag once they went down to one guitarist. I'll sample it.

fitear1590 - I really liked the 心像 [shinzou] Maxi-Single, however, their LP Ultima contains most of their A-Sides and is closer in content to the Liquid single. Both are really enjoyable in my opinion, and the guitar work really impressed me. I would start with Ultima if i were you. The song -0- Story from the LP is a good example of channeling the DIV vocal sound and electronica, but with some heavy elements and technical guitar soloing.

I love Akito as a vocalist (especially his work with Meth.), but notice that every band he seems to front disbands and never makes a formal album.

Two weeks ago it was Incubus and Alabama Shakes. Last week it was Veil of Maya (non-japanese) since their album Matriarch was released. And this week it is Xenon and Sokoninaru after reading the April release best of list.

Many of my favorites are also listed on this months release list, but the biggest surprises for me were: fitear1590 - I had never heard Xenon until today - and that entire single was amazing (A and B sides). The DIV characterization was right on, and I rushed into sampling their other offerings throughout the day and really wondered why I never gave them a shot! They are able to meld melody and heavy very well, and their guitarist(s) can solo much better than DIV ever has. Also - I adore the Sokoninaru! As a huge fan of bands like HaKU, Androp, and Ling Toshite Sigure, they are in the same vein and are great! Thanks for this - the format and content are both spot on.
  15. That title - I makes me worried... But to be honest I actually thought their last album was an upgrade from the previous efforts. I enjoyed it. As a result, I will always give this band a listen as I devoted so much time listening to their music in the mid 2000's. The golden years of Mucc.

I've been in a Deftones/crosses/team sleep music phase for the last two weeks after I received the announcement of their summer tour with Incubus. I plan on attending their show in Mountain View, CA. near the end of the tour. Their music gets better with age in my opinion, and I am very excited about this year's release - and the release of Eros if it ever is made available.

I liked Tora era Sel'm, but love Ryuga era Sel'm - my favorite songs by them (such as Dears, Brave, and Shine) all were created in with Ryuga behind the mic. Scarlet of the guilty was also excellent - but as always - the production does seem to detract from the band sound overall. I do hope the album has a better sound quality - but count me in as happy to hear this news.
  18. Awesome sample. AvelCain is continuing to rise closer to the top of my current favorites. Solid.
  19. I agree with all the previous comments as Black was a fresh sound and had some good music in my opinion. However - those song titles...

I liked Psycho Monsters to be honest, as well as Biran - this EP sounds decent to me. I'm going to listen and look forward to the release.

I loved the Suicidal Diva and Suisen singles. Both had great songs in my mind, and their vocalist shined in both.
  22. That last album made me lose my interest in this band. They used to be so good...
  23. TheStoic

This is good news. I welcome new SiM.
  24. I'm up for giving them another shot since San is joining - That solo that just began at the end of the preview got me interested.
  25. Its good news as I have always been a fan of Art-School and the hiatus was short lived. I hope they have success with the new label and can release a solid record.
