Vivarush had their first one-man live last night at OSAKA RUIDO which they somehow managed to sell out i'm sooooo happy for them. Some photos from their oneman yesterday fans even made a cake for the band T_T here's the setlist: At the oneman they announced a couple of things. They will be back at MUSE to hold another oneman on 2017/3/24. They also have a new look for their 2nd single オコサマジック which would be released on 2017/02/28 the members are starting to write their thoughts on the oneman and i'll see if i can translate some of them later, but here's ruimaru's tweet this morning:

Instore events for Lamplight=melody have started! The first one was held at Takadanobaba ZEAL LINK yestery where the band took a quiz over 5 different subjects lol. Mizuki didn't do very well (apparently he can't do algebra at all XD) and he was like 'EVERYONE PLEASE FORGET THAT TODAY HAPPENED.' Hal seemed extremely pleased that he ranked 2nd - because, obviously there was never any doubt who would come in 1st hahaha. Shogo is like the little genius among them - i don't remember exactly, but i think no one has ever beaten him at any sort of game or quiz that the band played in instores or on their radio program LOL <333333333 more pics of shogo from their instore yesterday today they will be going around the vk shops in Tokyo to hand over flyers and posters Vif will be uploading a comment video and an interview from the band later, and i'll translate if there's any interest. also, stock for the limited edition of Lamplight=melody is running low on both the band's end and in shops, so please hurry up and grab a copy if you're still thinking about it! it appears that sale numbers for their new single were pretty good (they even topped the daily ZL rankings in osaka, which came as a bit of a surprise to me, since they typically hadn't done that well in osaka compared to tokyo). finally, regular sales for the tickets to their BLAZE one-man have started!

resurrecting this thread just because. ever since i fell in love with vistlip i made an internal commitment to go through their discography at least once every few months. the latest iteration of this took place over the past few days and i died so hard. it might have been because literally half of my top handful of bands have disbanded/announced disbandment over the last couple of weeks/months and it struck me that one day vistip will be gone too. i'm not sure. but listening to early vistlip (especially patriot and theater and their first few singles) made me feel like it was just yesterday that i experienced my first and possibly most intense love affair with a vk band. out of the 1000+ bands that i've encountered since i couldn't find another band that gives me the same feeling vistlip had given me, and i doubt i ever will. they are so special. also if anyone wants to talk about tomo's lyrics please say so and await my verbal diarrhoea. until now no other lyricist (or for that matter, writer) has resonated so powerfully with me. if not, let's discuss their recent releases?
