Honestly, I felt the same way.
Back in 2006.
Now I'm grateful for the opportunity to hear things I couldn't with a lower fidelity.

The pacing of 碧落の暁り is on point. Love it.
It builds up very carefully, in fact, that when it drops back down, it doesn't lose it's expression.
It draws you in like a story, seriously. I can't wait to read the translated lyrics of this.
鴉食 just gets to the point right of the bat haha, with the growls keeping that raw energy/control from the last track.
I'm not even of fan of growls to this degree, but I have to give them props for having the talent to stay consistent throughout the track. Damn is an understatement haha.
Definitely impressed me, that's for sure. Instrumentals are to die for, especially the drummer.
Very promising lineup.
