Oh wow you watched a dub? Yeah Reynolds voice was kind of annoying at first, but eventually he fit the bill just fine. Movie was weird, that's for sure. Kinda felt like I was watching a Jim Carey film with him playing a superhero.

Take me fishing with them. Waves at Hazuki and boys especially
-
Went to watch that Deadpool movie last night. No comment.

Holy shit that is one of the best band names i've ever heard haha. Anyone recommend something to sample from them?

This is gonna be long as fuck, I apologize. Mom/Pop shops here in Chicago/Neighboring areas too, have made that same assumption. I've been on a VK CD hunting spree recently. Never have, but now I feel it's necessary. Kpop is taking over almost completely here, solely because its what's hot ( I REALLY blame that one korean artist with his catchy tune). Slowly, these shops have been introducing a Kpop section, and every month, the section becomes bigger. Meanwhile, they've stopped/slowed bringing in new Visual Kei Rock (Anime OST's for that matter too), and Japanese Items. I've asked 2 shop owners "hey, wtf is going on?" and their responses were pretty much: I've been asked by a # of people to start carrying some Kpop stuff It's really hurting my business if I don't start listening to their demands. People just don't buy the Japanese stuff anymore/right now From a business standpoint, I understand. Kpop will bring them in extra revenue right now. Yet, at what cost? Both shop owners (both Japanese) that I've asked say they despise Korean music and that they don't see the appeal (they claim that Japan has always had Pop Idols/Boy Bands), and that teens are pretty stupid (lol at least they're honest) because all these songs sound the same (no passion, vocalists are terrible (one even said that an artist she listened to sounded devoid of a soul lol)). That same shop owner even opened up a small section for similar Japanese (Jpop) artists to see if they could bring more variety (how considerate amirite?), but she says that they'd sell maybe 8-10 CDs that day. Apparently when she asked a customer if she needed any help in that section, the person asked "Is this Kpop?" IMO they see it as over-hyped to death crap they play repeatedly over the radio in S.Korea, brought to the U.S.A. They're not wrong, to an extent. I was fortunate enough to listen to the JRock/Jpop combo as a kid, so Kpop is not that terrible. Yet, I just don't see the appeal (sounds the same to me) of Kpop. My brother and his girlfriend are Kpop Stans and won't stfu about every hot release (they've been fans for years, before the Kpop wave here in the US), and they've told me that it's great that the music is easier to access. It's still better than Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, and whoever the fuck else (I stopped caring a few years ago), I guess.

Don't say that. It makes me lose respect for people when they say that word. Not offending you, it's just easier to make words like that the last in your vocabulary. These newer gen VK artists, at this point in the scene, have the inspiration and influences by previous bands. What they do with all that, is up to them. You will hear the similarities perhaps in the way they play, but it's not an exact duplicate. Make sure you listen to them very carefully for those little spins they add to the sound, as a lot of us are quick to dismiss them. As for the majority that are "uninspired", keep in mind that VK scene is shitting out more bands than ever. It's up to us (even if we make up a small fraction) to make sure that those who aspire to be great, are noticed. Only flock to the bands that are in it to improve their skills and themselves, and not their image. It's a shame what happened to Shounenki, and I'm still pretty suprised that actually happened, as they were honestly good by today's VK standards.

Well I have a full time job (with overtime currently), but I carpool, so I either pass out (most of the time), or play on my 3DS. I have class for most of the afternoon/evening and play there too in between breaks, When I get home at night I hop on my PS4 for an hour or so before bed. I'd hop on a PC gaming binge, but I haven't been a PC gamer since '98 with Sonic the hedgehog lol. Plus I use an Apple Laptop and I just can't risk burning through my Mac too quick. I've been a gamer since forever. It's not a habit you can just give up. If anything, I work my life AROUND my games. I don't have time for an RPG or MMO anymore, but once FFXV comes out, I'm gonna try and make it work again. I must.

I really enjoyed From Death to Destiny as well. Going to cleaner vocals for the album was a nice change of pace, as well as for the vocalists health. I heard about his vocal chord injury. I'm still questioning the new singers capability. Sad that Danny left (not sure why yet), but he provided that raw energy that helped complete the band. This new guy, I'm not really feeling it yet.

Yeah. I guess because I've seen candy shops like that in other countries that I've been to when I was a grubby little kid, I can relate to them liking Dagashi Snacks so much lol. x2 on the dragging on part. Sometimes I enjoy watching it, other times I just play it in the background when I do homework.
