Sounds amazing as ever, so pleased I pre-ordered this
-
Oh yes, this is what I signed up for, what a tune.
-
This sucks, I thought these guys had promise. Was hoping they would get around to doing a full album.
-
Personally I thought their last album was absolutely fantastic and am hoping for more of the same.
-
Does anybody know if it's possible to actually order their CDs through any of the major online Asian retailers (e.g. CD Japan, YesAsia)? I can't seem to find any anywhere, which doesn't bode well for being able to get hold of their new album.
-
He could form a band called Umbrella! Oh, wait...
-
Does sound remarkably similar to Paradeis, whom I thought were all right – their second album was a hell of a lot better than their first, but still kind of disappointing. Don't have massive high hopes for this band. Would have been nice if they'd changed their style up a bit.

Looks like a disbandment from here. Can't see this band going major, they haven't released enough (not even one full-length album in what, five years?), and they're not good enough, either. I really wanted to like them – I thought they were pretty good when they started out – but they actually seem to be getting worse rather than better. Their last few singles were dreadful.
-
So they're all going to be singles? Interesting. I imagine the same album, or a very similar one, will come out in Japan as well.

Sounds like he might have had some kind of stress-related breakdown.
-
Looking forward to this. Their major singles had a lot of promise, so I'm interested to hear what they can produce now. Still not sure why they basically disappeared for two years.
-
Great tune, am even more stoked for the album now. Eagerly awaiting my copy

What a plop! I love their album and was looking forward to many more... Oh well, too bad
-
Lol @ "The Bold Fat Baby". Looking forward to this though.
-
I don't see anything to suggest that they are all going to be singles. I predict three singles, an album, and a live DVD. Or three singles and two albums, released alternately. Ow, my wallet...

Oh, you actually meant the question literally! Sorry. In British English – the variety that I speak – when you say "Since when does X do X", it's a rhetorical question: you are not actually asking since when they have done it, you are expressing disbelief that they do or have ever done it. Hence my somewhat flippant answer.

Oh my, this is absolutely fantastic! I loved Aicle so it's great to see this guy back in action. Don't get the people who say it doesn't sound like VK, though. The chorus is very VK, as are all the samples of the other songs. Really looking forward to hearing the whole thing.

Uh... Plastic Tree? And? Cyntia?

Forget the Japanese stores and buy from YesAsia, based in Hong Kong. They'll stock almost anything you request and they conduct all transactions in US dollars. If you order more than $50 worth of stuff (basically, two albums at once), you'll get free shipping. I do this all the time and so I have never once paid for shipping, but their rates are quite reasonable. The best thing about them is that if your package gets opened at customs and you get charged import duty, they'll pay it! (This has never happened to me, though.) The only downside is that sometimes they fail to get limited edition items in, so if you're worried about disappointment, order from CD Japan instead, who are also extremely efficient and reliable but do charge quite a bit more for shipping – though nothing near the rip-off rates of HMV and Amazon.

YAS! Best VK news I've heard in a long, long time. Roll on a new album! (But don't push it so much you make yourself ill again.)
-
They normally fix the out-of-tune vocals when they go major.
-
I absolutely love these two new tunes – their best since reforming, in my opinion. "Tatoeba" really, really, sounds like Kannivalism, which obviously is a good thing. Outrageous video, though.
-
Why have I never heard of this band before?! I love this stuff – got to get the new album! I just listened to the first album and it reminded me quite a lot of School Food Punishment, which obviously is a good thing.

What is a "continual session band"?
