...wooow.

I don't have many box sets, so I don't have much of a reference, but these are all cool: Chu Ishikawa - Tetsuo Complete Box: it's basically just a hard slipcase with the discs and a booklet inside. Works for me. BOØWY - BOØWY COMPLETE: a thick-ass box with two fold-out disc holders housing 10 CDs in total (more or less their discography plus a disc of rare/unreleased stuff), adding a thick booklet with all the lyrics and some photos. BOØWY - "GIGS" BOX: okay, now're talking! A cool hard slipcase housing 8 DVDs (3 discs of the most complete footage of the "GIGS" CASE OF BOØWY lives that we're ever gonna get probably, plus 5 discs of bonus live, interview and documentary footage) and a beautiful mini-size hardcover reprint of the HYSTERIA photobook. BOØWY - "LAST GIGS" COMPLETE: these guys sure love their box sets (and so do I, lol). This 2-DVD set features extended footage from the band's final two gigs, a beautiful pamphlet and mini-size reprints of the band's BOØWY HUNT fanclub magazines. This and the "GIGS" BOX are my fave box sets. Shiina Ringo - MoRA: If you're like me and you're only really into her "classic" first three albums this one's perfect. 4 CDs (the first three albums plus a single), a thick-ass special booklet, various stickers and cards, plus a poster, all housed in a sturdy deluxe casing... that plays a short audio of Shiina's voice when you slide it open (yes, you read that correctly, lol).

Saw this a few weeks ago, but was too lazy to make a thread that will only be read by 5 ppl anyway. XD Keeping my fingers crossed for Diary to be released in 2018, they seem to have gained some steam in these past few years finally.
-
Okay, I did not expect that! Between this info and that new song I'm suddenly kinda......... interested in them again? Even though everything they released in the past 5 years has been tragic.
-
Awww noooo, I kinda liked them... too bad.
-
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh boy :'D

Welcome, have fun!
-
ooooooh the previews actually sound quite good!

LMAO what even

That's not the album tracklist tho, only the bonus live DVD (I know I got fooled at first glance too xD). The actual tracklist of the full-length is unknown atm.
-
Ok, but I seriously hope this is gonna be a good album.

gots me some new eye-windows 👓

From what I understand, here is a demo snippet of one of the new tracks... it sounds like XA-VAT so far, that's for sure.

Does Laibach count here? Because I LOVE them. Such a fascinating back catalogue with lots of different styles. Also, gotta leave this band here too...

Everything looks and sounds good so far~

They've been playing stuff from all of their career ever since they returned, they'd be crazy not to now. (random sample setlist from 2016)

Still here for that juicy new arubamu~
-
I always eat up whatever they release, so I'm down~ But yes, pls release the merry-go-roundsies too!
-
I do have to admit that some of the vocal choices were a bit... weird (I mean, I didn't expect so many low death growls xD). Nowadays when I listen to Uada I kinda just listen to both albums together, back to back, so I don't really pay attention to which album is which, but it's overall pretty satisfying to me (even if at times a bit unremarkable).
-
I quite like the new Ghost album too, tho oddly enough I somehow expected more poppiness. Also it's interesting how there are two instrumental tracks (not counting the short intro), tho both are superb. The bonus cover songs are kickass btw, at first I liked them even better than the regular part of the album, lol. I peeped the new Uada too, it's as solid as their first one imo. Good stuff.

Awesome news! If this will be available in gaijin-friendly places I might buy it~

My favorite neurotic girlpower pop punkers Mommy Long Legs will release their debut album "Try Your Best" on June 22~ ♥ They already have a track available for streaming and it does not disappoint! https://mommylonglegs.bandcamp.com/track/bridezilla
