  1. New preview, this time for the opening track: Very rock 'n' roll~
  2. Sweet! At least it's actually being released in some form (unlike the previous MM session thingies).

Currently slowly getting through a Hungarian edition of H. P. Lovecraft's 'complete works' (well, more or less complete), volume one. They gathered his writings together based on overall themes, so it's pretty interesting to read it this way, as opposed to a chronological order. I think I've read about half of his more popular oeuvre over the years but it's good to re-read and to have it collected like this. I'm also reading Dorian by Will Self, which is a modern reimagining of the classic Oscar Wilde novel, transported into the 1980s and 1990s. I don't remember much of the particulars of the original but this one's supposed to follow it pretty closely, plotwise. As for the style, it's pretty easy to read and has some fun wittiness, but still not at the level of Wilde's of course. Not bad so far, tho nothing spectacular.

If it was him it would make my day so hard. It appears they're having a gig tomorrow, so hopefully it will all come to light then.
  5. I dunno how to feel about this yet, but I'll reserve my judgement. On the one hand, it's Netflix and a big name so hopefully they won't screw it up.............. on the other hand, Death Note was also Netflix sooo... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  6. whooooooah nice! I love it when bands release old shit like this.

Utafumi had some fun commercials... remember this one? It seems they went all-out with promoting that one single, lol. Haven't seen similar commercials for their other recent-ish stuff.

The rhythm of the riffage is a bit different but the beginning of "Lucifer ~光をもたらす者~" on PENICILLIN's new mini album is basically Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" (couldn't find the PENI' example on YT).
  9. Can't decide if weirdest cali≠gari or weirdest Ziyoou-vachi look. 🤔

They have a song/single called "Kuchizuke" which means "kiss", but it might just be coincidence (but I think yeah the kissing thing would be the more romantic scenario here, haha). I'm not aware whether they ever publicly said what was the inspiration/origin of their name.
  14. Song's a bit repetitive but the style is good! Okay for starters at least.
  15. Jigsaw9

The album is great! I was especially surprised by Salad Fingers' cameo in the 6th track.

Just wrapping up my first listen, and have to bow down at the altar of Sigh. Lovin' the more exotic sounds, synths and the flute this time around. Also that weird trilogy in the middle is just perfect, haha. Mirai singing in Japanese is something I need more of!
  17. I enjoyed this album too, pretty good! Although at the time of listening it was the only full-length I've heard from them, haha (I've caught up a bit in the meantime, all around decent/quality brutality).
  18. Jigsaw9

Glad to hear it seems to be living up to expectations! I'll only be able to listen to it tomorrow, stoked to spin it!

A bit underwhelming for me, but it wasn't unpleasant.
  20. Is that title a subliminal message about the likelihood of the new X album ever being released? 🤔
  21. gimme dem sweet melancholy tunez aie yesss
  22. ^ Yeah, that's the only info I have of the album's "first availability". In any case, hoping some kind soul will upload it soon afterwards...
  23. New Peste Noire track is uppp I gotta say I'm not a fan of this kind of hip-hop production/sound, but it was okay. What carried it over to enjoyable territory for me was definitely the vocals. Going by the promo text on the site, we should expect another advance track in December with a 'cabaret' style (that one I can't wait for, haha). I've also read somewhere that supposedly the album will be out mid-December too, but didn't see any official release date mentioned yet.
