雅-MIYAVI- - UNBREAKABLE

So what are your opinions on the new B-T album? Personally, I really like it. To me it's a bit like if they mixed the rock'n'roll style of Tenshi no Revolver with the futuristic sounds of Mona Lisa Overdrive, but also it has some innovations, and even hints to their past (electronica influenced) styles. A song-by-song review would be a bit long here, so just some impressions: - parts of the intro reminded me of The Simpsons theme, dunno why - lots of different moods, but still a unity of sound - not a big fan of the new Dokudanjou Beauty (I just don't like those female vocals) - the poppy/dancey songs are awesome!!! - Atsushi has some really cool vocals, especially choruses on this album (Gekka reijin, Solaris, Hamushi no you ni) - I love the Imai/Atsushi double vocals in TANGO Swanka! - I feel that tracks 9; 10; 13 could've been left off; they just bore me/pass me by I'd give it a strong 7.5/10; good job!

I guess they're releasing that according to schedule. It's only that the band is taking a break, that's all.

Awesome!!!

My thoughts/opinion exactly!

Coooool!!!

^ Thanks for the tracklist! I'm looking forward to the album. Is there a release date yet? Last time I heard it would be out "sometime in December" (with a release party on 24th). edit: Nevermind, just read the release date is Dec.15. XD Also, this seems to be the cover if I'm not mistaken:

Not doing a song-by-song review (too tired, lol) but I gotta admit the new album is pretty badass. I was a bit afraid after reading some reactions, but Meev didn't let me down. Yeah, there's some weird/sloppy/uninspired stuff, but for that there's also an equal amount of amazing songs! I love the whole gritty/earthy sound and atmosphere of the album, how the guitar and the rhythm-play is at the forefront. Standout tracks for me (besides the already known ones): I LOVE YOU,...; MOON; SHELTER; FUTURISTIC LOVE. This release gets a strong 7/10 from me. Gonna listen to this one tons more!!!

The Dead Weather - Blue Blood Blues

LOL, totally saw this coming! ...I might buy it.
-
Oh great, now there's virtually no active band at U-C that I'm even remotely interested in, lol. I hope they come back sometime, in some form.
-
To my knowledge, the Meev collaboration version is only on the Japanese version of the album/single/whatever. At least from what I've read some time ago (I don't really keep track of this collab xD).

Do not want.

Maru is always awesome.

King Diamond - The Invisible Guests

Bridge to Solace - Will You Rewrite History With Me?

LOL okay.
-
Actually, those instrumental tracks have been released before too...so it's like 2 new songs (tracks 3 and 9), lol.
-
Sounds cool, looking forward to it!

^ Yes, they're both awesome! Here's a link to Ga-In's MV and her performance from Music Bank (really beautiful, and only little playback): LhNqdRectqM dUufAuBXKQQ

Okay, so I basically just created this topic to have a place to fangasm about how awesome Narsha's and Ga-In's solo mini albums are! I really recommend them to any K-pop fans because I think their sound is very refreshing, cool and catchy at the same time (plus, they both have a cool MV). I have to admit that their minis are like my favourite things this year in K-pop. Anyway, Brown Eyed Girls (abbreviated as BEG) are cool too, though I only love a handful of their songs. Still, they have pretty amazing voices. So, any fans of these girls/their solos?

I don't really feel the MV but it's not bad. Still lovin' the song though.
-
I love the single, especially Torture and Revenge...awesome that he's doing this lo-fi stripped down guitar style (I actually always wished for something like this from him, lol). Really looking forward to the album!!!
-
Teaser was a bit...weird? ...but looking forward to the mini album nevertheless.

Listened to the sample...what I don't understand is why they made a completely different band for this. So far it sounds like typical Nega, but a bit...boring/shallow. Still, lookin' forward kinda!
