Finally listened to that new Vince Staples (double) album everyone's been raving about. Cool stuff indeed! Also, spinning the debut full-length of Shahmen (released a few months ago), what an awesome dark atmosphere. Never heard of these guys before, so it's a really cool random surprise. I diggg~

^ Short as it seems, it's still pretty much one of their longest sets... they've never played super-long gigs (this one would clock in around an hour or so). I don't even know if the crowd could handle more with all dat energy... XD

Neat video, tho I agree with @doombox about the band being more interesting to watch than the actual "story" (or whatever), lol. So far I think I like this song the best (even though it doesn't even reach the quality of the worst songs on ZION or The Dream The Space for example), then Xeno, and I won't even rank Ghost In The Mirror cuz ewww. I'm expecting a mediocre-to-annoying album, just like last time... on a positive note, at least I won't set myself up for disappointment this time around.

Coming back after one week, and boom, all these pages... Anyway, listened to the samples, can't really say anything, other than the snippets sound like a mixture between BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY and lynch (or something like that... anyway, a nice mini-evolution while still being undeniably gazette-ish)... which is pretty much okay for me so far, I guess. We'll see how it turns out.

^ That really varies, depending on who you ask, but my faves are probably Slivers.exe (mini album), Sabbat (single), KILLING ME (single). So basically the early stuff. Their "single trilogy" of A Priori, Shuuei and DECADANCE -Counting Goats etc... is also nice.

Some cool acts I randomly came upon recently, incidentally most of them at Giallo Disco Records: Vercetti Technicolor - a bit more '70s inspired (than '80s) I guess, still pretty cool moody spooky stuff Alessandro Parisi - eerie and minimalistic and awesome as fuq Antoni Maiovvi & Umberto (Law Unit) - quite menacing with an almost old-school industrial vibe
