  1. The Bauhaus is strong with this one <333 Can't wait for the album! The mini was only good for temporarily easing my hunger.

^ Yeah, I think I understand what you're getting at. Can't really comment on those other non-horror shows you listed tho, I don't watch any of them. Just don't go into watching Scream Queens expecting full-on horror - it's more like a more self-aware and fun-poking AHS for a young-adult audience imo. At times it almost feels like watching a cartoon, haha.

^ Don't expect mature, expect very silly / ironic / cliché-ridden fun. XD

^ Watch Scream Queens instead. Very fun teen horror parody vibe.

Yes it is / they are! Must be some kinda show they host (?).
  6. Never heard of these guys before, but this sounds kinda pleasant! edit: oh wait, yes I have. Just forgot about them, cuz I couldn't find their stuff anywhere, lol.
  7. ok Atsushi I'm real happy 4 u & Imma let u finish, but why on earth leave one of the covers on THE MORTAL mini completely in English, when you changed the other two into almost-all-the-way-Japanese?? can't get over dat Engrish (and it was the one cover I was looking forward to the most ;w; ). oh well, overall pretty good still...

LOL, bruh, I felt the same, although I had no idea what those covers were. But yeah I thought it was fairly enjoyable still.

The original bands are pretty much what Atsushi grew up listening to / influenced by, so they were a nice touch (except dat engrish xD).

The only song from the mini I'll skip most of the time =P. It was nice on the first listen, but then the engrish killed me.

Saw the legendary Morrissey last night at Budapest's Millenáris theatre. What a show! Dude is in great shape, he can still sing amazingly, everything was crystal-clear and beautiful (this goes for the overall sound too). There was a bit of a delay in starting, but it was well worth the wait. I really respect that he doesn't resort to a typical oldies-fest best-of setlist, but rather one focusing on his recent records (the new album in particular). He also performed some cool rarities, and the song I initially got to know him with, First of the Gang to Die (in a weird Latino-influenced new arrangement, haha). Of course, there was a Smiths track or two (well, three actually xD). Meat Is Murder was brutal as hell, and The Queen Is Dead was an excellent energetic encore. A random video someone took:
  9. Guys, if you missed it: Trombe said that the band's new album will be released, and further details have not yet been announced. In addition to this, they will distribute it (most likely in advance) at their gig in January. So to me that surely means they will have a regular store-wide edition coming, so calm down.
  10. I usually stick to a few select scenes and try to be up-to-date, depending on my preference at the given moment. I find myself being less and less open to various new artists as time goes by though, or they have to be of a really specific sound to satisfy me (strangely enough, there's plenty of stuff I enjoy going back and discovering previously overlooked artists from past musical 'eras' where I already like other artists from).

    "new" ahahaha...
  12. idk this band, but that's a pretty cool cover art!

So far this season seems far more enjoyable (for me) than the last one, even if only based on one episode. Fun creepy atmosphere, and killer music to boot (Bauhaus <3).
  14. Aww damn. Good to hear they're more or less okay tho.

I watched the American remake first, and it scarred me for life tbh. :'D I dunno, it was totally creepy and scary (tho I was younger when I watched it), very effective. Compared to that, the Japanese original seemed a bit tame and bland to me, but still not bad. So yeah, I'd definitely recommend watching the remake! (stay away from its sequel tho) The US remake is not a shot-for-shot retelling, it's very much a story that works in a Western context.

This (tho I don't think they're 'trash' xD).
  17. 布袋寅泰 (Tomoyasu Hotei) will release his international debut album "Strangers" on 2015/10/16 through Spinefarm Records, featuring various international collabs. Taken from the official site: International ver. tracklist 01. Medusa 02. How the Cookie Crumbles (featuring Iggy Pop) 03. Kill or Kiss (featuring Shea Seger) 04. Move it (featuring Richard Z. Kruspe) 05. Barrel of My Own Gun (featuring Noko) 06. Kill to Love You (featuring Matt Tuck) 07. Strangers 08. Walking Through The Night (featuring Iggy Pop) 09. Texas Groove (featuring Shea Seger) 10. Into the Light 11. Departure 12. Battle Without Honor or Humanity Japanese ver. tracklist 01. Strangers 02. Kill or Kiss (featuring Shea Seger) 03. Move It (featuring Richard Z. Kruspe) 04. How the Cookie Crumbles (featuring Iggy Pop) 05. Medusa 06. Kill to Love You (featuring Matt Tuck) 07. Battle Without Honor or Humanity 08. Texas Groove (featuring Shea Seger) 09. Barrel of My Own Gun (featuring Noko) 10. Walking Through the Night (featuring Iggy Pop) 11. Black Ships (Japan Edition Bonus Track) 12. Into the Light 13. Departure + DVD with the 2 lyric videos Basically if you've been following Hotei's work closely (particularly his last album from 2014), this 'new' album doesn't have much novelty to offer, except maybe if you count that most of the tracks are re-recorded and featuring guest artists. Oh well...

Both albums can now be purchased on Google Play as well (very good price I might add!). https://play.google.com/store/music/album/KEEL_Cthulhu?id=B2ezxdumcnmdukfvimc4423o7mi https://play.google.com/store/music/album/KEEL_R_lyeh?id=Bcq2le7ikhobusksl24h5thplwq
  19. Stuff like KEEL makes me glad I always come back to J-music. What a great set of (mini) albums!

  20. I really hope most of their one-off songs will be on some sort of future rarities best-of release or sg, cuz damn... they've all been pretty good so far. xD
