As much as I love the quality of headphones, I much prefer the experience that speakers give me. There's something about having the sound floating around me that is so much more enjoyable than having it trapped in my head. That said, being happy with the sound of speakers is drastically more difficult. Right now my living room set up is sounding pretty good, but I really need to deal with reflections and balancing. In the center of the couch it is awesome, but more to the left of the right one spot and the sound is not as centered as I would like. I keep on playing around with this set up trying to get things dialed in. My bedroom set up is a little bit more simple, but my speakers are further apart than I would really like them to be and they could use some help in the form of a sub. Living room speakers: Yamaha NS A100XT (LR) Infinity Primus PC250 © Outlaw lfm-1 plus (sub) Surrounds are crappy LGs from a home theater in a box system. This system is pretty eclectic, but it sounds pretty good. The Yamaha's aren't anything fantastic, you won't be blown away with their detail, but they have a surprisingly solid overall sound to them. The Infinity center matches well enough for movies and sounds pretty good as well. The Outlaw sub is really fantastic though (and more than powerful enough for my apartment...probably too powerful). I hope to upgrade this system eventually. I am swooning after the Monitor Audio Silver series, but that isn't a likely upgrade any time soon. Bedroom Speakers: Monitor Audio BR1's the lowest in the Monitor audio range, but I can't help but find them fantastic. They have a ton of clarity, especially for their lower price range. Monitor Audio tends to be on the brighter side, though, and I really wish I had a sub to pair with these (it would help a lot).

LM.C....wtf? It's pretty cool to see them playing with head phones president and THE NOVEMBERS, though.

I haven't listened to 88kasyo much, so take this with a huge grain of salt, but I actually feel like I have found a good comparison band for them. 88kasyo feels like a non VK version of cali≠gari's weirder side. The vocalist of 88kasyo especially reminds me of Ao.
-
It's not terrible but it for sure isn't all that good imo. I think I am still of the mindset that it just shouldn't exist. I am surprised how little I noticed the vocaloid stuff though.

That really wasn't aimed at Skyrim but all 3D games in general. I finally have a graphics card that can handle moderns stuff at max and I just find that I am unimpressed. It's not that it is bad by any means, I guess I am just expecting more? We'll see if Frycry 4 changes my mind one I get my free copy with my new SSD. I think it comes down to art direction more than anything, because I honestly think that Mario Kart 8 might be the best looking 3D games I have played in a while.
-
Is that bad that I don't think that looks good? I think I am getting cynical, but most 3D games fail to impress me anymore in terms of graphics.
-
Looking back at it I actually only spun the album once. I really need to give it another play then.
-
I enjoyed the fuck out of Tomb Raider, probably my favorite game that I have played all year.

Arukara has actually made it on the list three years in a row now. Out of the past three, CAO has sadly been the one the clicked the least for me. Not that I think it is bad...perhaps I think it is just too similar to their past releases and with an album a year it's not long enough for me to really miss their sound.
