Somehow i kept reading is 'holycock' so LOL!

I was under the impression that they were widely regarded as symphonic power metal, leaning towards power metal later in their career as the symphonic parts were decreased as their career goes on.
But that's what genres do. They give you a general idea of what to expect. Any band that sticks to their guns on the genre that they belong to aren't very interesting.
 
 
He's experimented within the realm of Versailles some and that still didn't stop the torrent of criticism about how all of his music sounds the same. GLOWING BUTTERFLY, Dry Ice Scream and Judicial Noir are all pretty different sounding, yet they all sound very similar. It's Hizaki's style, not his influences, that makes everything sound the way it does.

You can try and provide me an example of a similar band based on themes and influences of aristocats, vampire, rose, undead, ann rice novels(mainly the characters and its own themes), light and darkness, french romance, prince and princesses, palaces, baroque,17th century society and in some instances christianity.
 
They are Versailles period.
 
Quite the contrary, I don't like plenty of power/melodic bands for their terrible vocals and concepts for their songs. I follow very few for these reason. I can only describe Versailles as Symphonic-heavy metal, I don't think they are fast enough to be power metal. I am not up to debate what sub-genre is what but simply stating Versailles is power metal is a gross understatement in what they bring to their music.
 
Vocals depends on an individuals taste in music. You trying to state Kamijo has bad vocals to me doesn't mean shit.
 
note: I don't consider growlers/screamo/cookie-monster vocals in the same category as Kamijo's style. They are very different and can only fit the metal they were intended for.

Also, why should they want to have a "new" Verailles if Versailles isn't even disbanded?
Versailles and Jupiter are two projects and they excist both. 
It seriously unnecessary to compare them because you can't comepare a person with him / herself.
The only thing that is different is the cencept and the vocalists but isn't that what makes these two bands two unique projects?
 
So to conclude: I will support these guys no matter what they do.
 
Oh, and I think Kamijo has the perfect voice for Versailles. It wouldn't have had the 'Lestat' feeling that belonged in the story Versailles is based on if there wouldn't be Kamijo. (Btw don't forget that in a symphonic metal band vocalists often don't have powerful voices, often even really soft ones like Kamijo has one.)

So.
I'll sum it up.
IMO, we have to stop seeing it as a "Versailles with new vocalist." We need to see 4 awesome musicians that found each other, know how to play with each other. They ceased activity as their previous band, and needed to stay close for their future activities. Now, they needed a vocalist, they found one. Why do we keep comparing him to Kamijo ? It's not like he succeeds to him. Jupiter is a freaking new band. Get over the fact that 80% of the band is from Versailles.
Also, as all of you, I heard the Versailles-ish sound here. Let's all remember that HIZAKI was in studio with the rest of Jupiter the VERY NEXT DAY of the live @ NHK Hall, so yeah, of course, he composed these songs during Versailles. This is why I will, and lots of you should too, wait for the full album they are preparing to make a musical opinion on what they aim for. They were very clear in their interview about the fact that Versailles' concept actually kept them closed in a story they didn't want to continue. They were also clear about the fact that they want to be free in Jupiter, and that each member wants to make his songs in the band, without any "story".
Now, about vocals. They were also saying that ZIN has trained a lot since he was chosen to be the Vocalist. I think it's an opportunity for him to go major and to be with such musicians, that's why I think he'll put all his soul into his work. And if he's asked to scream, or growl, he'll fucking train for it until he can make it. I'm definitely certain about it.
So I'll just stay on a big "Wait & See" even though I already really like the preview.

A is somewhat of a rarity for me in the visual kei scene in that I enjoy everything they've ever done. After the release of ELEMENTA ALCHEMICA, I am convinced that this band can do no wrong. This double A-side doesn't change that any.

This is a more mature release that takes a few spins to really open up, so if you're a fan of A's rock anthem tunes you're going to have a hard time sinking your teeth into this. A have supplanted the background shouts, wailing guitar solos and speedy drums with a slower, more introspective atmosphere drenched in melancholy and hope, primarily constructed from vocals, piano and violin. 白い悪魔～Phantom of the Snow～ could have used some more musical progression to push it onto the same level as it's big brother track 雪月花 -The end of silence-, but with what it has it works excellently.
SAKURA is a good complement to the new track. On WHITE ALBUM, it was a track with a subdued atmosphere that got lost in the mix with the rest of the mini. The re-recording adds a new flair and gives some pop to the instruments that it really did need. The similar pace between both tracks also provides a nice cohesion so that one track flows into the next. This is best reflected in how one track can come after the other and neither suffers for it.
 
There are only two downfalls to this single. The first would be the orchestral version of  白い悪魔～Phantom of the Snow～ and the piano arrangement of SAKURA. Nimo was a prominent staple of both songs. Without his presence, the songs are pretty but have little to offer on subsequent listens. In particular,  白い悪魔～Phantom of the Snow～'s orchestral arrangement could have competed with the original if lyrics were present. What missed opportunities.

The second would be the only average production. Both ballads could have had a larger impact if they had that sparkle amazing production can add to a song, but their budget must not allow for such an advanced studio. Yet. I am only bummed over what I know could have been here and hope to see more of that emerge if they decide to place  白い悪魔～Phantom of the Snow～ on a future release.

With such mature songwriting and playing ability, these guys tower head and shoulders above most of the bands in the scene which birthed them. If you aren't on the A Train yet, get on board. These guys are going to get big.

May I say, I'd change the topic's name in "VK Vocalists who should get singing lessons" or "VK with not so good vocald (personal opinion)" or something?
It sounds like you really hate them. I mean - there must always be a reason why they have fans, right?
Also, I like e.g. Takerus vocals because he's super unforgettable and thank about one thing: What would the band be with other vocals? Seriously, SuG for example here sound so cute, happy and SuG-like because that's how Takeru makes the lyrics sound; the vocals + the instrumentals make the music.
I hope you get what I mean. I also don't like some vocalists' voice but without them the band wouldn't sound like they do.
Oh, and also I think there should really be a thread for good vocalists. For example Sono of Matenrou Opera would (for me) also be good in singing other songs (I mean - he could sing Pop songs and sound awesome!). <3
