From my experience both IRL and online, here are some quick observations based from my own perspective. Male fans tend to be more deeply into the music and as many bands as possible. Most walking Wikipedias of VK (myself included) are male, I find. Female fans are the absolute majority and the span of kinds is much wider there, but I generally don't tend to find as many die-hards when it comes to general scene knowledge as when it comes to the male fans, but rather often specialized highly on one particular band, or just a casual fan. Most major collectors of physical media tend to be male as well. Except for cheki, most male fans I know don't care for those.

I saw them in Munich, it was a decent gig. Very professional, setlist was terrible, All because it was missing Cockroach, the only track I was truly excited for, haha.
-
Can someone post the London setlist?

I knew it, it was worth the hype. It's amazing. Saviours of VK.

Kisaki has a very easily identifiable style of playing, you can instantly hear it's him, but I think it might be because he hasn't really developed all that much as a bassist since the 90s.
-
I'd say Yoshiki but I'm unsure if he knows how to make good music anymore, hasn't made anything worthwhile since the 90s.

I like the Black:List throwback look, the sound is pretty good too, but to be honest I wish they'd just reform Black:List for a bit and release all the tracks they never got around to releasing. They are some of the best unreleased material in VK. Either way, Kyotaro back in VK makes me happy.

Dir en grey - UROBOROS 黒夢 - 亡骸を・・・ LUNA SEA - LUNA SEA ムック - 葬ラ謳 sukekiyo - ADORATIO Any answer that is not involving these five is most likely incorrect.

I hosted the release party of the new album together with the band yesterday and I confirm that it's quite the good album. 100% not bought opinion.

This is truly a great loss for the Japanese music scene. RIP.

Going to post this here without any context and see if anyone figures it out. Quite proud of this one.

Time to sell the family heirlooms and rob the bank. No way I can miss this.

Not sure if anyone else is interested in this band on the forum, but I opened my copy of their mini album "Teenage Riot" and was treated to some rather... unusual lyrics, and thought they were hilarious enough that I had to share them with the world. If there's anyone who wants me to do the rest I can since I doubt anyone else besides the band still has a copy of this CD. transcribed by me exactly as written, including capitalization and missed spacing, from the lyrics sheet (which looks like it's printed at home just like the rest of the album.) To quote one of my all time favorite vocalists: "What Was in Your Pet dog You are" - 狂太郎, 2003. Enjoy. Biotech 作曲・冥 | 歌詞・狂太郎 | 編曲・Volark dead Born 「I'm Sorry」 Hello and I'm Scrap Hello and good Killyou! 「MAD」 愛しい貴女 壊してやろうかい? 「Mad What Didyou guragura」 そっと目をとじて「笑」僕にゆだねる 「What Was in Your Pet dog You are」 気がつけば足元にころがる無数のbaby 「Mad What Didyou yurayura」 もっと締め付けて「笑」僕をイカせてみな 「What Your This Happy Showtime!」 「Fuxx'n JAP Killyou」 「モルヒネ Please!」 Transcribed by WhirlingBlack, 2019.

Sounds like generic neo-vk to me. But one minute sample is not enough to judge the project entirely so I will still check it out based on their past merits.

Hey now, we actually eat our meatballs with mashed potatoes, a cream-based sauce, pickled cucumber and some lingonberry jam on the side. Surely you guys must've been to IKEA at some point?

After many years I finally managed to get a hold of a CD I've wanted to get a HQ rip of, only to find that the CD itself is mastered from mp3 files and my brand new FLAC rip has almost exactly the same specs as the old 192kbps files available since time immemorial. Feels bad.

Black:List - DESPERATE, for some reason it was the last CD of theirs I never had managed to get.

He was probably rubbing his hands in delight when Pata was sick some year ago.

I wonder how long it will take for that dumb Tooru rumour to finally die. Its been debunked for years now.

カウントダウン sounds like a variation on Utagoe, lol. Will try out the album when it comes but I don't expect much, they've consistently disappointed me with all newly written material for the past ten years.
