  1. I just watched Kamen Rider Zero-One episode 43 and it takes place in the same warehouse that JILUKA shot their PV for Lluvia!!

It may be a slightly different version of Ignite (like they did with Ajna or Hellraiser). Plus, I'm sure they didn't plan on having the single being sold to the masses (and not a live-limited) when the EP itself was announced and planned.

Not bad! I liked the BtBaM-esque high scream part, but the drums still sound programmed. The cymbals aren't sustained enough to sound realistic.
  4. Ikebukuro RUIDO K3 announced on their OHP that they would be shutting down at the end of August due to the influence of COVID-19. Their twitter has been suspended, though in their announcement, they state "for more information after 09/01, reference https://twitter.com/revoice_music," which states "From September 5, 2020, live house "Ikebukuro Revoice" will open at the site of Ikebukuro RUIDO K3! 160 people. It seems to me like this is a change in ownership and whether or not they will continue to cater to VK bands is to be seen, but DEVILOOF's Daiki seems be pretty disappointed in RUIDO's closing. He says that he's seeing a decline in the scene because bands are disbanding, but no new ones are forming (probably due to the pandemic) and is scared to think there will be fewer and fewer venues for bandmen to play. EDIT Looks like the same goes for Shinjuku RUIDO K4 ... They'll close at the end of September and a new venue named Shinjuku WALLY will open in its place in October.

Kagami from dexcore said something about his throat, so I don't think it's strictly a mental thing.
  6. There's also a mild typo in his response to his musical background: I think you mean to say "live" or it sounds like Ray has resurrected and is living his second life.
  7. You can't seem to decide how you want to spell Ray.

  9. I FINALLY have internet back after having a massive wind storm blow it out FIVE DAMN DAYS AGO ...

I never implied that it was bad. It's just very JILUKA to me. And I also own everything they've released (once Japan Post will deliver their DVD to me ...) and my comment about them being the new lynch. wasn't meant to be negative. lynch. is a very consistent band that knows their sound, but I generally like every release they have. It was meant to be a humorous nod to consistency. God forbid.
  11. Somebody learned how to play around with filters in Premiere.
  12. Takeru leaves the band, but due to some interestingly difficult situations: He is a medical student in Tokyo and was severely punished by the university for being in the band. He was conflicted and had to make a decision to leave the university to pursue the band full-time, but ultimately decided to quit and concentrate on his medical studies at university. His mother died at the early age of 50 and a few days before his mother passed, he pledged he would graduate from medical school and pass the national medical exam. He feels he can't betray his promise to his mother and had been struggling with managing his school load and band activities over the last few months. He apologizes for his selfish actions while contemplating his decision and temporarily cutting ties with the band and thus has decided to leave the band.
  13. Full music video coming tomorrow (without Hiroto of course ...)

It makes sense considering what Kagami's been posting frequently on twitter and YouTube. He's been doing more softer stuff lately, acoustic covers and all. I think this was one of his "work in progress" videos at one point. The "it's easy to live" part sounds familiar.

Was I right or was I right? I called it before even hearing the song.

The drums were the very first thing I noticed. It's clearly programed and they're not even trying to hide it ... that snare is gross. The whole thing sounds like a demo.

Masato keeps posting that he's searching out members to recruit, joking or not (like he said he went to the Pokemon Cafe looking for members). The other bandmen were supposed to play together at their final live on 08/27, but have backed out and now it's just Masato. Their website has also been updated with the support members and even a new "look." This is all so weird ...
  18. So they're doing the diss track thing still?
  19. patientZERO

Their best album title "発売中止" means "canceled" ...
  20. Three guitarists, no drummer, only four people in their profile images. Hmm.
  21. As reported on their twitter, Shellmy vocalist Hyo has contracted coronavirus and they have decided to cancel their live at Liquid Room on 07/26. Hyo has reported on his own twitter that his fever has fallen a bit, but he still feels fatigued with a sore throat and poor appetite. Let's hope he gets well soon.
  22. Damn, I really wish they sounded like they looked. I really dig their visuals, but the over abundance of techno/synth and poppy vocals just don't mesh ...
  23. Pretty much everyone from DELUHI. I can't count the amount of bands and failed projects those dudes have started and ended. Breakin' Holiday, Zero Mind Infinity, FAR EAST DIZAIN, Garson, and also Juri and Sujk's solo junk.
  24. Japanese culture really needs to start to realize that mental illness exists. Even though I'm not a fan of the band, I'm glad he's alive and I hope he can work things out with his bandmates if only for him to grow emotionally.

From what little I've heard from them, I think they're pretty damn good. It's a shame that it's hard to tell just what their discography is so far. It's also cool how far they've taken the secretive thing.
