Pretty much what the thread title implies: songs that have melodies taken from classical music ('classical' being used loosely here. Quite a few examples aren't classical and are either baroque or romantic). I'm making this because I want to see a compiled list, plus I'm tired of people saying 'this sounds like the melody of this song by __band name here__!!!' when said melody is actually not written by the aforementioned band at all. Most recent example that sparked me to actually do this: X's "Rose of Pain."
 
Any sort of Japanese music is welcome as a contribution. 
 
ANYWAY, the list. I'll start it, and if people would like to add more to it just post and I'll get around to updating this post as like a master thread or something. I'll probably also make a Last.fm journal with tags so more people can add to it as well and so it will be easier to find. This original list are just a few examples that I can think of off the top of my head. When I come across more I'll definitely add to it. Kazuki's leaving because his mother is terminally ill and his father can't cope with looking after her. And he's the only son in the family. So yeah, terribly sad and painful to lose him but I think that's as legit a reason as one we'll ever find for someone leaving a band.

I had thought what would be like to be a friend of them, mostly of the oshare-kei ones. uvu Most of them seem to be very friendly, funny, hot, gorgeous, trendy, funny, childish, cute, fabulous, lovely... so... at least I guess I fantasize to have friends like them, but I just got alternative/goth/emo-scene/punk/hardcore/-ish friends. xD
 
10: Do you want to be in a Visual Kei band (or any other kind of band)?
I'm aaaaalways dreaming about it. When there's a VK song I like a lot, I'm acting like all the members on a PV/Live. Vocalist *being dramatic with my body, dancing, furi, headbanging, and other awkward things. *talkingandscreamingtothe'crowd'* xD*, bass/guitar *acting like if I were performing and standing on the high little stage and doing my gt./ba. solo being glamourus(?). xD*, drums/piano/andalltheotherinstruments *Yup. Being perfect like Yoshiki. (?)*

A: I don't really buy many or any cd's at all for the time being. At least until i start making some more money. I'm a poor college student but i guess that isn't an excuse to not buy any cd's.

A: Yes for sure, I'd say visual kei is a part of my heart and way of being. Both aesthetically and the music too is very important to me.
