Yeah he looks like Tsuzuku and Yuuki, but hey that's the go-to style for frontmen right now I guess.
Even the small amount of blonde underneath haha.

^ this is why I don't call vk bands "djent" or "core". Because they usually only take one part of those genres then blend it into their usual sound. They use djent-y riffs and -core breakdowns to spice up their sounds. That doesn't make them djent or metalcore bands in my book.

According to Wiki:
Djent as a style is characterized by progressive, rhythmic, and technical complexity.[7] It typically features heavily distorted, palm-muted guitar chords, syncopated riffs[4] and polyrhythms alongside virtuoso soloing.[2] Another common feature is the use of extended range seven, eight, and nine-string guitars.[

Listening to/watching their last live I thoguht Ruki had planned to use more growls and screams because their seemed to be a lot more added to that live DVD "ーSaiteigiー". I mean even that scream in the beginning of DIm Scene, which I love, he did the best yet, and the growls on "Before I Decay" I was impressed.

jduv86 got a reaction from Sakura Seven in MEJIBRAY new mini album "VENOMS.app" release
I'm sure you're not taking a diss at me on this for no reason or anyone else who doesn't agree with your opinion.
I'm glad people disagree though. I don't think Mejibray does albums well as a whole and I actually hated Silvers.EXE. I think they shine with their singles mostly but Nepenthes was an alternate theatrical blue black with bland B-sides and Eiki was creative but really hard to tolerate with those vocals plus the B-sides were not that great. Other than the singles and Mr. rain wa shindafuri, I just didn't like the album as much as the first one though (which isn't saying too much). I'll take a standard good V-Kei album over a creative endeavor that leaves bland results to me (other than the songs mentioned from it above). I shouldn't have to say IMO, but since I'll probably get a slick diss, these are just my opinions.

I'd say the weakest link currently is Reita. His basslines don't seem to stand out to me that much except the occasional solo.

I really hope opinions move to the review and artist threads. This poor news thread is already overrun. ^^;

I'll be totally honest, at the end of the day I just want him active in some group.
MBHI is a cool experiment, I hate that it looks like it's over.. but then again this project was technically on the shelf since 2008.
It would be hilarious if SKULL/KMW would reform after these one-day revivals (like a couple who both start seeing their exes at the same time)
but just god damn it be active in something Taira.
MBHI going active is a part of what spurred me back into young VK bands in early 2014.
I remember Lynch.'s GALLOWS dropped in April and with Lynch being one of the few veteran bands that I still followed closely from high school days and thus hyping the release so much I was left with a big void feeling how stark and impersonal it was (not to bash that album, I stil enjoy it for what it is) I knew that yester-decade's VK bands alone weren't doing it for me and somehow between becoming irresponsibly into MEJIBRAY and the activation of MBHI, I became closer with small new bands than the older ones.
I might not have become active on MH if it weren't for this period ^
Anyway moral of the story, VK just means a bit more to me when Tenten is involved I think it will always be this way.. This kind of makes me want to listen to nothing today lol

I still haven't heard OMINOUS, but as a Katatonia fan, an article name like that inspires confidence.
