Have to agree with the Kanon Wakeshima comments, I was really impressed with this album generally speaking. The two more electronic tracks were a huge surprise to me and being a big fan of electronic music it was something that made me very happy. Sansukumi was probably my second favorite on the album overall, my first being Geijutsuka no Kawaii Souzoutachi. Additionally, the title track Tsukinami and the second single Killy Killy Joker are close to the top of the list. 
 
As for the Div song, it's flawless of course. I haven't had the extreme pleasure of hearing Secret in full yet, but that was one of the tracks I was looking most forward to and it didn't disappoint, but it almost doesn't even sound like them. I'm trying to think of the band this song reminds me of, but it isn't Div. Anyway, it's great and I look forward to hearing the whole album.

Wow, that's disappointing to see that no changes were made to at least "TASTE OF LIFE" and "Golden Kinema Gekijou"...

Still looking forward to hearing the rest of the album though. Although I still don't care for the female vocal sampling, "SECRET NIGHT" has grown on me.

Damn, there's more older songs than I realized. I know they just showed the PV clips for them all, but I wonder if there's any chance for rerecording/remastering of any of them? (I'm mainly looking at TASTE OF LIFE and Golden Kinema Gekijou, since they came out BEFORE their first album)

I think it's pretty clear that many music buffs tend to be more album-oriented. Just look, year end lists tend to consist only of albums! EPs/mini-albums squeak their way onto these lists occasionally, but it's not often that maxi-singles get any attention. "If the title track is included on an album, then why bother talking about the maxi-single release!" Well, this thread is to help us mend that ideology.

While the OR team is taking strides towards more recognition of individual tracks (see our monthly and year-end best track lists), this topic is to help recognize notable (maxi-)singles that might have been overlooked in all the hubbub over albums.

Discuss some of your favorite (maxi-)singles here!

A few pointers:
1) If the release is a single (i.e 1 track, no b-sides), it must not be included on any of the given band's albums/EPs/mini-albums (greatest hits collections are excluded). You can fudge this rule if the single recording is different from the version included on another release.
2) If the release is a maxi-single (usually a single track, with 1-3 b-sides/SE/instrumentals), the entirety of the release must be of note for you. And preferably, the b-sides should not have shown up on any of the given band's albums/EPs/mini-albums.
3) For now, let's keep this limited to Japanese music (but any scenes/genres are welcome!).
4) Share your (maxi-)singles with a little blurb about why you chose it. If you can provide links (YouTube, etc.), do it!

Yesss, Sened! I feel like not enough people appreciate their soft/dreamy stuff. That's the side I find myself gravitating more toward. But I also thoroughly enjoy their heavy, distorted stuff.

Well, I was looking for all the songs mentioned here. As someone said, I have mixed feelings. Some songs here are awesome to me, and I love them, and many others I didn't hear before- I'm downloading them right now XD- ... Anyway I really liked the list displays variety, which is nice to me because we can look for another bands <3. 
Well, until now, I just can say Great job guys!

The start of me organizing music actually began with the use of slsk, but I started using last.fm shortly after and that definitely ensured that my tags stayed intact. Though when I became a trader on utatane (Japanese p2p), that's when I got REALLY strict about organizing/tagging and basically became more anal than a power bottom.

Real talk though: I wonder how many of us actually would just romanize the band names if not for last.fm... I feel like that at least factors in how some of us do our tagging.

I hate plug! I can't believe how people there dare to play music that I don't listen to! It's MH's room so it should be 99% visual kei, but no, instead it's indie rock and k-pop and whatnot. And what's even worse... PLUG IS KILLIN' THE CHAT!
