I have no desire to live or work there, however I would like to learn some basic Japanese to keep a conversation with someone if I'd ever manage to save enough to go on vacation there. However I am uncertain whether or not my favourite artists will still be active when I actually manage to get there.

I had to cycle for twenty minutes with a bloody nose, no tissues with me or whatever and no one on the streets nice enough to offer me one, instead people stared at me as if I just came from a bar fight. I was a bloody mess when I arrived at work this morning, sigh.

It's a tie between the 80's and late 90's, really, the poll doesn't really do justice to my preferences however I voted 90's - 00's. There won't really be anyone who can have me stray from my love for the 80's and 90's. I grew up listening to hundreds of glam rock bands, from early NWOBHM diverting to the British instalment of bands such as Wrathchild and Tigertailz, early American groups such as Lizzy Borden but also the origins; The Sweet, Alice Cooper, Marc Bolan, KISS, etc., all the way to the new wave Scandinavian movement of glam-and sleaze rock as we know it now (CRASHDÏET, Hardcore Superstar, Vains of Jenna, and a lot more). Japanese acts who fit that same image such as X JAPAN, Loudness, Cats in Boots and NEW YANKEES, I have been involved with for a decade already so it's hard shaking that feeling of the original craziness that blossomed from Visual Kei. And then in the 90's there come Malice Mizer, Mirage, LAREINE, the early rise of the kotekote movement. In my opinion Visual Kei had a lot more aesthetics, more dramatical performances, glamour and generally the rock and roll lifestyle rather than how it is now; random kids being pushed an instrument in their claws, dumped in a fully functioning recording studio with all the necessities, being plastered on a ton of makeup, but not really knowing what to do or how to enact an original and authentic performance. For me that's just how it is.

Ah, I know all these bands already. I just didn't list everything there, haha.

I truly dislike how it's such a trend to disband quickly in this scene. Eleven years isn't long at all compared to western metal bands and such.

Yes, I get there, but then you get the download links and literally none of them work, or ask for subscription and payment.

I'm looking for more bands like (let me construct a quick list of what I already found in 'my genre', so to speak): Can I call it neo-visual kei? The newer bands with an actual visual kei image, preferably with somewhat of a darker side which is pretty obvious from this list I think. Feel free to add (with last.fm pages would be nice).

Something cheesy, something classic and classy with a well-dressed, well-behaved and well-mannered man on a location that consists of those elements too. Why are horse-lovers so uncomfortably comfortable with those animals? Whenever I meet someone who likes horses they act like the animals are their relationship partners, calling them all sorts of intimate names and whatnot (i.e. 'my handsome boy', whatever). I feel totally awkward when someone begins about horses like that, it almost seems like beastiality to me.

When I do that it tells me to subscribe.

It's really disappointing to see all the deeply rooted musicians taking breaks and going on hiatus. Soon there won't be much left to enjoy if they all go on pause.

I just take birthcontrol, always. I only have my menstruation once a year when it breaks through my birthcontrol. Also, don't listen to anyone saying that it's bad when you keep taking them, because it isn't. It's just different how everybody's body responds to it. For me it doesn't have any effect.
