No one needs to come to a conclusion. They're obviously 'opinions' as the topic title reads. I'm just stating facts, for I don't know how you can consider death/screaming vocals as girlie.

Marty Friedman's project, anyone? It's his best chance at success obviously so I hope for him he can get that going. He's great but his drumming is way too fast and overdone for Femme Fatale and Kaya's elegance and aestethic. I don't mind him leaving this band actually, Freya sounded like it was recorded on a kitchen counter with pots and pans.

Ice's clean singing is most beautiful when it isn't auto-tuned, I honestly do not quite understand why they over-use the auto-tune that much, because listen to this: And then it is still slightly auto-tuned. But I suppose it goes with their electro/synth-sound. It's somewhat of a shame that it's their central point of attention, however I still enjoy this band immensely.

He really shouldn't do that too often if I should desire to keep my heart intact. (Or perhaps he should so I could lose it to him some more)

Wow, that's completely controversial as opposed of my opinion. Vocalists like Ryo, Asagi and Satsuki are immense musicians, they rise out above the general vocalist and are an example to many beginners. They don't sound like any other vocalist, whereas I can line up ten generic bands who are extremely popular (i.e. GazettE, Royz, Alice Nine, ViViD, SuG, etc.) who sound exactly the same, both in vocals as well as music-wise.

So apparently I am not a 'good friend' if I am jealous of someone being in Tokyo, or going to Japan at least two times a year for a period of a month or longer. I was just making a random comment about my day to someone and suddenly they all go like, 'I AM IN TOKYO RIGHT NOW, I AM IN TOKYO RIGHT NOW ISN'T THAT GREAT LOL'. I politely told her not to mention it too much to me as I am quick to grow jealous, and I cannot quite save up any money because I am not hired for a normal job (regarding my Asperger Syndrome, employers are discriminating mental conditions here like hell), and she told me, 'Well you could just be a good friend and be happy for me'. I didn't speak to her since and this has been about two and a half weeks ago, maybe even three. Today she posts on Twitter: "Funny how so many of my 'friends' are so jealous about me being in Japan they don't want me to even mention it in a conversation." "And then I see them struggling to find CDs I just saw in a shop for like 200¥... Well I would lovingly get things like that for you." "If you actually managed to be nice lol." Why are people so unnecessarily mean and rude over something that has been said half a month ago, isn't even a discussion anymore or whatever? Her passive aggressiveness is bothering the hell out of me but I know I shouldn't give in because I'll just be giving her her way again.

How are any of these guys singing in a 'girly' voice? Any of the vocalists you named most definitely don't sing in a generic high voice... eh, or you must mean the complete opposite here.

There's still no telling in how much I love UNDER CODE, still, for me it's just a label that will never cease to exist in name and legacy regardless of these bands no longer being together, or no longer staying in their original form. All tracks in this list belong to my favourites, from each artists mentioned. It's impossible to choose one over the other. Also just hoping, hoping that Loki will ever pick up König again.

Haha, it even said 'Fraulein Elsa' somewhere on one of their banners, as well as the German music she started playing on an old phonograph. Either way, I watched this episode in two sits as I couldn't stay up last night and kept falling asleep throughout it, so I finished it this morning with blurry vision and a heavy head. For me it will take time getting used to the new concept, as it's fresh and needs a steady build towards a plot. Perhaps it was just because I was sleepy that I was a tad confused about everything. I hope this season will live up to the series' name again. I'm missing the horror because that was what I started watching it for in the first place.

^ I agree with you fully. Personally, I am not quite interested in major and big bands (i.e. The Gazette, SuG, Alice Nine, etc.) because those sound and look exactly the same to me. I haven't the slightest clue how these bands were 'chosen' to become popular or why people overhype them so extremely whereas their performances are bland. There are only a few big bands I like, but most of those derive from the late 80's and early 90's like X JAPAN or BUCK-TICK. They are icons, real rock stars, they lived the lifestyle in poorness and now luxury because they deserve a way on the top. But those silly boybands? I have clue what's attractive about them, it's probably just my personal taste but there are hundreds of indie bands out there that deserve a lot more than whoever is on the rise now.

1. Do you feel like you are entitled to free music? If you do, why? If you don't, why not? I am not sure. I just think music exists to be heard, whether or not someone pays for it nowadays. It is impossible to avoid free music on the internet, anyway. Even if it were to become 'illegal' (it is already is illegal to share files on the internet in many countries, yet nobody gives a crap), then people will find a way regardless. It's just that in the Visual Kei business, regardless of how many releases are sold, most bands won't really profit from it anyway. I don't think music should be withheld from anyone who wants to listen to it because we as western Japanese music lovers are often not really prioritized; from a lot of bands it is impossible to obtain any form of physical release yet they demand that as much of their music as possible is to be spread among a fanbase, what can they expect, really. 2. How do you feel about people refusing to share their music because they want to support the band? I don't mind it when people refuse to share their music, but what really bothers me is when people blatantly ignore me when I kindly as if they perhaps can share a certain release. On last.fm and Twitter it has happened to me dozens of times, and also people I know here on Monochrome Heaven have refused to speak a word to me simply because I asked if they could share a certain release, but I'm not naming people. I ask nicely, and get no response whereas these people are basically online and active on their social media 24/7. It's rude, really. Also, if you have already bought the music then you are already supporting the band, aren't you? 3. In relation to the second question, what do you think of people who tell others not to share something they themselves paid money for as they think its content is exclusively for those who paid for it? I respect their wishes, frankly I do not quite care whether or not someone other than myself hears a release or not. But if they ask, I shall at least explain to them as of why I wouldn't be sharing it because I received the music from another person, instead of ignoring them. 4. Do you think entitlement to free music is worse in visual kei than in other communities? Yes, definitely so. The Visual Kei scene is the worst music scene I have been a fan of regarding the actual fanbase. People are rude, disrespectful, mean, often really unstable and depressed, think only of themselves, scream for attention for whatever reasons by glorifying self-harm and suicide and whatnot and all of this can be applied to the way of entitlement people think they have over music in this scene. It often really disgusts me to see a fanbase ruin a scene this badly. I rather enjoy the music on my own than with other people in this case. 5. How do you feel about people who deliberately share releases in low bitrates to encourage you to buy the CD? Do you think that if someone does decide to share, you're entitled to the highest rip? It's sad for people who are overly sensitive to sound because honestly I cannot hear the difference between a low bitrate or Youtube rip and a 320kbps rip, or FLAC. I just rip my own files in 320kbps because people would ask for this, but for myself it doesn't matter at all. 6. Have you ever been approached by people, either on Monochrome Heaven or last.fm, who wanted you to share something? If you didn't want to share, how did they react? What did you think of their reaction? I have been approached by people who wished me to share certain releases, and I almost always responded positively as I have no problems with sharing releases in a normal mp3/360kbps format.
