We thought about changing it to Saturday instead, but this will likely be an evening / day where people are enjoying themselves otherwise. The timeframe will always be an issue as it's revolving mostly around Europe and the United States as most people on the forum are from those areas, and this is unfortunate for the few people living in Asia, because it's always the middle of the night for them. You can always advertise for your own sessions in your own time, though — and simply see who will join. It's no doubt that there are always members around who are also having trouble with this schedule and that they're looking for a different time to play.
  2. Except for being super attractive, aha.

I am stuck on episode two of D.Gray-Man because the art was just too atrocious to look at. Is it really such a masterpiece that I will be able to ignore this on the long run?

As was the same with plug, our regular Sunday sessions start at 8PM GMT, and this has already been decided. Midnight would be atrocious for every European as everyone has likely already gone to bed at that time, and we have also never played at that time. I do not know what holds people back. There were four announcements yesterday, and unfortunately we only sat there with four people, and eventually three.

This is also what I am afraid of. I fear that Kamijo's solo releases won't be as solid as they were, if he now decides that Versailles will return, and that this band will release new material, we will either receive decent music over the span of a very long period of time, or we will receive inconsistent releases that are not living up to their full potential.

Kamijo pretty much confirmed 'revival' in his latest tweet. He also posted an entry on his website, but it is accesible to Rose Croix members only. If they are planning to release anything, I sincerely hope that Hizaki will be kept away from songwriting.
  7. The song by itself is quite nice, but I kept waiting on when I'd be hearing Die sing without auto-tune. It's like he is embarassed about his own voice and tries to cover it with either effects or another voice layered on top of it.

It appears this is actually the case, though. This live was already planned, so let's hope it stays at that.

I can't believe I'll say this, but... this is disappointing, in a sense. I had hoped for Kamijo to continue with his solo-career. If Versailles is reviving, I do root for him to continue with his own project on the side, or at least for him to compose the majority of whatever new releases Versailles may produce.
  10. I would have to dig for those. They might have been released somewhere at the beginning of this year and I can honestly not remember where or how I have found them. Probably buried somewhere on Facebook pages. ——————————————— I found one of them. I remember him having a more or less negative vision on today's Visual Kei, but this is all I can find at this moment. V21 - : “What is your opinion on Visual Kei these days? What kind of future do you see for it?” "I don’t really understand today’s Visual Kei. There is no artist by whom I feel threatened. But, maybe, at some point, there will be bands looking for beauty..." http://www.vyper-jmusic.com/fr/article/kamijo-interview-with-a-vampire/612.html
  11. I would have been quite angry if Kamijo wasn't included on this year's list, so this is well-deserved. He continues to show his dominance in a slowly withering scene (the man himself recognizing this decline as well, as he usually has no comment on today's Visual Kei - see several recent interviews), and he does it overwhelmingly. "Royal Blood -Revival Best-" isn't just a collection of re-recorded tracks, it is a widespread Visual Kei anthology covering almost three respectful decades of a single man's work, work that speaks for almost an entire musical genre (if we may call this a genre, just for now), and it is a biography that will still be spoken of in many years to come. I couldn't imagine not being the proud owner of yet another piece of his work, now that I have this on my shelf.
  12. Kai, please. He's still beautiful.
  13. Yesssssssssssssss. I have been waiting on something from these guys for so long. I believe the only thing in existence is a distributed single with one song or something.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Severus Snape.
  15. If you haven't heard him since early Versailles, then it would likely be impossible to imagine how his tone has changed. His voice experienced changes throughout all of Versailles' run, and he has also undergone vocal-surgery of some sort, so there are quite a lot of changes. Some say he sings nasally or whiny, some think of him as a god. I belong in the latter category where I find nothing but warmth and power in his voice. If you want to hear how he has changed compared to his Lareine days, you should listen to his "Royal Blood -Revival Best-" album. Several Lareine songs have been re-recorded for this album, and he applies his current techniques. Here is an example;
  16. I am so salty about this, lol.

  17. Exactly what I was thinking.
  18. Lestat

We are making attempts on that, but the success rate is rather low as people still seem to be clinging to the idea of plug.dj being gone.
  19. How can one Visual Kei band contain this much talent?
  20. Lestat

I am only familiar with that Dir en grey song, but then again I also can't remember how it sounds like because it was probably easily forgettable for me. I downloaded the piqnic as well, but haven't listened to them yet. グルグル映畫館 - ナンセンス 意味は無いケド 意義が有る Fatima - 消せない雨 RENTRER EN SOI - PROTOPLASM 12012 - innocent sight JE*REVIENS - 緋色の思い アヲイ - abelcain Versailles - DESCENDANT OF THE ROSE KISS - Deuce E'm~grief~ - Seelenheil Gastunk - Computer Crime Well, that's a rather mismatched mix-up. KISS easily wins here, by idea alone.
  21. Surprised? I have seen this coming from miles away, haha. Most of the staff members enjoy indie-bands and metalcore groups over Visual Kei, as far as I know. Not to mention that Visual Kei has severely been lacking great releases this year, at least for me it was rather disappointing. For me personally, this list has been — nothing worthwhile, actually. There are three names on there so far that are worth mentioning for me and I wonder if it'll increase its luck for me towards the end of the tally. But I think not. As I said, a disappointing year, unfortunately. Can't do anything about that.

He actually broke his rib, idiot. Earlier this year he broke several toes. I can't with him.
