pretty big domestic tour consisting of 18 dates in 10 cities.

man, I forgot the last time I did this.

so the band is doing a domestic tour to celebrate a 15th anniversary of their debut album, GAUZE.

tour starts the day after tomorrow and as usual, I'll be tracking down the setlists.

something makes me think they will give out details on a new album right after the first show. at least I hope they will.

now, I should make a notion that I actually admire him as a drummer. he is very... unpredictable, so to speak.

his parts are are very complex and interesting to me. he's a not a fan of straight 'dum tss dum tss dum tss' lines.

except for double bass drum parts I love his drumming skills.

I'd go, 'oh god stop' each time I heard Deity live, 'cause he just can't keep the double bass part straight.

oh yeah. blast beat involves more instruments than just a snare. my bad. sorry.

just for the record. what's the difference?

 

Gravity Blast is a variation of Blast Beat, it's not the same.

so the first ever european show for BABYMETAL was a success. I liked the fact that crowd was actually moshing.

halfway through the song, Headbanger!! Yui took lead vocal duties and sang the rest of the song while Su joined Moa on dancing.

both concerts got cancelled.

sounds REALLY nice.

Moscow venue has been changed to TEATR CLUB which is twice smaller. I guess sales aren't going really well there.

LA show is now totally sold out.

BABYMETAL facebook reports that pre-sale tickets for an LA show were sold out in a moment.

my personal guess is that just like the London show this one may be transferred to a bigger venue.

Los Angeles, CA has been added to the World Tour schedule.

In fact, I might just ask right away: just how many DEG fans in Russia/Finland axis are notified of Sukekiyo's existence/music? It's not like the news/Immortalis release has spread in the general/mainstream public overseas though...

let me explain.

I've seen DIR EN GREY live twice - both times in Moscow. all four INWARD SCREAMs were totally screwed up by the crowds. Russian fans just don't know when to shut up.

I think that, in a way, the whole Sukekiyo show is an extended INWARD SCREAM.

I'm not trying to be rude now, but that's just what I've seen myself.

and speaking of Russian fanbase.

I believe that the whole DIR EN GREY fanbase in Russia is totally aware of Sukekiyo because since last year it's about both bands,

all DIR EN GREY communities post Sukekiyo news as well.
