    great news for european fans. the band is now listed for a Nürburgring festival DER RING - Grüne Hölle Rock. May 29-31.

    guess more to come.

    but as soon as it was revealed to be Floor Jansen I can't understand how people could be disappointed. By far the most talented vocalist of the three, and a vocalist who can pull off songs from both eras better than the previous vocalists themself.

    simple. only if you know who Floor Jansen is.

    it was the first time I actually heard anything about her when she was revealed as a substitute lead singer on a tour.

     

     

    Maybe he prefer her voice. I prefer Anette than Tarja if you ask me.

    oh yeah. a coupling song, Sagan has also leaked.

    now that I gave both a couple of listens, Elan - yes, Sagan - no.

    the latter is a very straightforward, uninteresting track.

    makes sense that it didn't make it on an album.

    Élan is believed to be one of the weakest songs on album. meaning vocal-wise too. Floor is said to contribute a very massive range of vocals to the whole thing, so I assume you'll be able to hear your favorite female vocalist as you remember her.

    Élan has leaked.

     

    I was VERY disappointed with Anette's departure. at the time I didn't even feel like giving a new vocalist a try.

    but somehow this band always manages to keep me interested.

    well, I have to admit Élan is goddamn good. I love its folky, easy-to-listen sound.

     

    will have to listen to the whole thing when it's out.
