This is more or less how do I look like. Besides that the hair does not cover my forehead. I could not look so much on there as if I was 20, but I'm usually shaven. Propably I'll someday upload my realistec pic

Anthem - Herladic Device Dir En Grey - Dum Spiro Spero Limp Bizkit - Gold Cobra Maximum the Hormone - Greatest the Hitz 2011 (though it's a maxi-single, but still feels like I was listening to their album ) 鐵樹蘭 - 讓信念繁衍 Generally, 2011 was a very good year for albums, I'll even say probably one of the best!

Man, this is such a interesting game, wouold be a shame if it had died. I'll try to guess, Maiku. Don't you mean "Rise Against"?

If you're interested, definetly give a shot to Immortal, Domestic Booty, Tightrope and Bound to Break, thank me later But anyway, all of thier albums are great.

The next album after Gold Cobra, so far that's an assumption, but if it's already planned, I would expect any more exact news at the earliest around last quarter of the following year. As for the raw material u mean the recordings form 3 Dollar Bill or Mental Aquaducts? John Otto excelled there a lot, that's what caught my attention the most I'd agree about them haven't been heard enough these times, I think that's could be because the style isn't now popular like in 2000-2003. However I've heard them this year on a rock radio channel about nine times, where the speaker always mentioned comeback of Limp Bizkit. Like you, still think that they can make another really outstanding album too. That news with colaboration with Lou Reed, hmmmm.... haven't heard this rumor it till now

I think I can know Gold Cobra has a lot elements bringing the vibe from their past albums like Significant Other and mixing it up in really good way, since there always was a diversity between each album. As for Results May Vary, I also wasn't a big fan originally, however after a few listenings it grew on me. $3 Bill grungy sound was even at some aspects brought back at The Unquestionable Truth. I will agree a lot about Fred Durst having high crowd contacting skills, since he entered into communication with crowd in Szczenin a lot. Surely, not only there but overall he was really impressed with the local moshpit madness If it's about his voice, I really wouldn't say, he sounds any bad, just sometimes kinda "hardcore punk-ish", but overall I've always loved how he showed his craziness like in "Leech" or "Show Me What You Got" Anyway, often keep looking for some news about them but like with Maximum the Hormone, so far there aren't any yet, because I've somewhere red that they have in plans make next album, so I'd be already interested what sound would they show that time

Since everybody is making threads about their all the time favourite bands, than hey, why shall I not do the same? I've been Limp Bizkit fan since around 2006. And attended at their live in Szczecin Rock Festival 2009 as one of my most unforgettable life moments and official return of them. Overall I think that DJ Lethal and Wes are in this band are the most badass. Gold Cobra album as a comeback was really good, however Chocolate Starfish will be always for me noted as thier biggest masterpiece, can't really decide which is my 2nd favourite though lol. Anyway, does anyone there listens to Limp Bizkit? If yes share your thoughts

The same here, I'm already really close to the finish (at the 6th sequence block).

For the most of time: -revising kanji -going to the oldtown -making audiosubs via Ulead Video Studio 11 -scrobbling on last.fm -spending time on kwejk.pl and komixxy.pl -visiting any forums, where I'm registered, and usually writing at leats 3 posts

That's what my course friend does a lot of times. He asks about the "double words" that he heard in anime series. During the break, I often approach to the white board, draw random Kanji characters that I've seen latest time and ask the teacher what do they mean. Also each time when we have a new grammatical form to learn, he sometimes shows us slang version of it. Kanji is also really interesting for me (know about 700 right now ) Just to ask, do you know what's the difference between 花 and 華? Because the Kanji for it have similar but different meanings, though are red the same way. Oh and just small correction, 肉便器 I think it should be "nikubenki", but that's in passing. Back to the topic I've just reminded more examples: 奪う [ubau] - snatch away 理想 [risou] - ideal 幻想 [gensou] - illusions 町/街 [machi] - city. I've known this word before, but like with "hana" these two Kanji don't have exactly the same meanings. Good that in IME Input System there are some explaining adnotations added
  15. Does anyohe here while listening to Japanese music tries to understand the lyrics, what do they say? I know not everyone over there learns Japanese with such a passion like I have, but I'm sure you usually understand what are lyrics saying. Also if you search for the lyrics you definetly understand most of it but not all words so you search for them in dictionary, and later remember them. That's what I'm mostly doing when I listen to for example Dir en Grey, it helps me a lot to expand the vocabulary and get to know with a lot of new Japanese phrases. Here are some examples that I've learned and can remind myself for right now: 溢れる [afureru] - to flow 刃 [yaiba] - blade 痺れる [shibireru] - paralyze 適う [kanau] - to come true 怪しい [ayashii] - suspicious 永遠 [eien] - eternity Now you give at least 2 or 3 examples. Also the song titles are not required.

My most favourite albums are Domestic Booty, Immortal, No Smoke Without Fire and Tightrope. I think the same as you, that Anthem never released any album that I don't like Especially their newest one is a total masterpiece. Eizo is one of my favourite singers. However, the era with Yukio Morikawa (1988-1992) was definetly great as well. Also, the Heavy Metal Anthem CD (2000) with Graham Bonnet is very interesting too.

10+/10 Because it describes basic part of my musical personality

Current Members: Vocals - Eizo Sakamoto (坂本英三) Electric guitar - Akio Shimizu (清水 昭男) Bass guitar - Naoto Shibata (柴田 直人) Drums - Hirotsugu Homma (本間 大嗣) Discography: 1985 - Anthem 1985 - Ready to Ride 1986 - Tightrope 1987 - Bound to Break 1988 - Gypsy Ways 1989 - Hunting Time 1990 - No Smoke Without Fire 1992 - Domestic Booty 2000 - Heavy Metal Anthem 2001 - Seven Hills 2002 - Overload 2004 - Eternal Warrior 2006 - Immortal 2008 - Black Empire 2011 - Heraldic Device Thread would have been probably earlier made by Ronluna or Number Girl. Anyway, they're really one of my most favourite Japanese metal bands all the time. I love all of their albums, being a fan of them already one year Post your thoughts about the band.

Proggy, thrashy style. I like it So far I've got their 5 first albums so they must have proggressed a lot.

You have to be fucking trolling. Hizumi? Tatsurou? WTF. If you consider them bad....god knows what you think of obscure vocalists like Maria, or relatively unkown indie bands... *sigh* No offence, but I think that you need to correct your glasses! I just dislike Mucc's vocals because it sound too whiney for me, not a big matter. But tell me where did I say anything bad about Hizumi?! I really like him, he IS a good singer and I consider him as one of exceptions in VK. Besides I haven't posted any single word that insults the fanbases. And FYI I'm not listening to these Indies you mentioned. Seriously, that's my opinion, dude. Deal with it.

I also have in plans going to Japan at June/July 2012. It's organized by a Japanese language school in Warsaw, mostly it's a two week trip for students. As for the payment term I need to bring there 3000 zł (around $9818 in recount) until the half of January. So I keep the hope that it gonna all achieve. I'm going to visit Tokyo and Shizuoka. I've been at the conversation week ago and I received most of the detalis. I'll have to prepare a short presentation about my country, as well the organisators mentioned that I'll be with other students taking part in a local dance festival. Mostly this will be a trip when I'll attend to local Japanese course where I'll be able to write and pass JLPT at N3 level. I'll be staying at Japanese family's home, also there's going to be several free times to visit the towns. Anyway, Aion I hope that you will have a good time in Japan.

Found this thread accidentally and must say, that it describes at some parts the truth IMHO, because "good vocals in visual kei" is now virtually very close to an oxymoron. They always sound annoyingly whiny Here are some examples: - all of Under Code and oshare kei - Otogi (Awoi) - granted that they have good music (guitars and drums), but the vocals are just awkward, the main reason why I couldn't get into them. - Tatsurou (Mucc) - Just NO!!! He sounds really gross for me! The basic reason why I'm not into this band. I remebmer giving a shot some of their albums, coz I've read on the net how good they are. Maybe he didn't sound always bad, but for example, when I hear the Libra chrous I imeddiatly want to puke. Also even if I enjoy Sadie's music, Mao's vocals sometimes annoy me too. Overall I think that for me that's another good reason to be glad moving into non-VK indies and other Japanese music.

The tours are now the thing that I find out about them the most right now. Perhaps they're working on the new album but the progress is kinda slow, but may suprisingly increase. I'd expect it about winter/spring breaktrough 2012 if not later. Besides I've seen them live in Hamburg at June. No need to say how worth it was to take a 1000 km bus ride! Back to the topic: my all the time favourite album of theirs is Buikikaesu. Rokkinpo Goroshi is next. Generally I think I don't have any release of them, that I don't like. Each one of them is awesome, even at it's own way
  25. futoshi92

I'm familiar with The Stalin, they're great Tokage, if Mad Caps' 4 Plugs is more influenced with nu metal, do u know any Japanese bands who play this genre? It's one of my favourite ones. If yes then can you recommend me some of them to check out. Bedises I'll check all the info about punk stuff you showed right there.
